  1. Bad water pump seal or the o ring on the water pipe through the clutch cover is leaking.
  2. So the backflip is just a two year old bullshit story now.
  3. Who the fuck is elka?
  4. High heat silicone
  5. Buy a selection in the range you think you need. they are about $3 each at fast.
  6. Did you rejet for the mods. Stock carbs are fine on a ported motor.
  7. Loosen the cable completely at the clutch perch and adjust the threaded screw part that goes through the pancake. With the springs off the clutch, screw the adjuster in till the pressure plate starts to move. then back off a quarter turn and tighten the locknut with some locktite.
  8. Stay away from jet kits. Just buy a selection of jets.
  9. There are a couple complete setups in the for sale section
  10. No ounces or gallons in Canada
  11. 1 liter of oil per 32 liters gas 625 ml oil per 20 liters gas
  12. Stock banshee compression ratio is 6.5:1 check out the owners handbook
  13. There are a lot of singles that run two carbs, especially the big thumpers. I think the Raptors run two carbs as well. Nothing unusual about it, two inlet valves, two carbs.
  14. When you can no longer kick start the Banshee it is time to retire to a four stroke for your golden years
  15. Don't think you will have much luck with trying to weld the sleeve. It is not something I would try. Stock sleeves are cast into the cylinders. They need to be bored out and the new sleeves pressed in.
  16. You should be able to remove the wire linking the switch, brain and carb tops. I think it is black and yellow. The black and black and white will have to be cut out of the harness. I have never looked that close to see how they are connected
  17. Don't run the Vito's super stock pistons on a ported motor, they have recesses in the crown that are meant to give the same effect as porting . Rather get a set of Wiseco pro lites. While you are getting the porting done, get the bores checked as well. No point putting shiny new pistons in bores that are worn.
  18. Yes you can change it from the outside, just a bit fiddly to get out. take care not to nick the shaft while doing it though.
  19. Post some pics of the damage. Are the wrist pin circlips in, and are you missing parts of the rings. If you cant find what caused it, then I would split the cases and check down there. You may have dropped some crap down there during the rebuild. What porting are you going with from Kevin?
  20. WTF In March we were all family or something gay like that. WTF, now you want your brothers banned.
  21. What do you consider long stretches, seconds or minutes. Dont forget that the motor came from a road bike If you are jetted right and the motor is not junk, you should have no problems running WOT for a few kilometers. Just make sure that the gas cap vent is working and the filters in the gas tank are clean, or else you may run the carbs dry and end up walking back to your truck.
  22. The o ring goes over the shaft on the smaller piece that bolts onto the bike. The spring and ball go into the shaft above the o ring and then the kicker slides over and is held in place with a screw.2 o rings make it a really tight fit and stops the usual rattling.
