  1. what do you mean by fell. More info needed. Your post does not really explain much.
  2. Welcome to the HQ. You have to drill and tap for the idle screws on the side of the carbs. Dont forget to grind off about 1/4 inch first or the screws will not reach the slides and use tapping oil. The seal will be a dog to get out with the engine all together, just make sure that you dont gouge the shift shaft while getting it off. Check the clutch cable is lubed and not kinked or squashed. I run 6 HD springs and the clutch is still easy to pull. The problem with buying a older Banshee is the DPO. Dreaded Previous Owner
  3. From the web. 14.6 kg of air is required to burn one kilogram of gasoline, but only 1.7 kg of air for one kilogram of nitromethane. Since an engine
  4. With 210 mains and fattys you must be running lean. Are you sure the noise is from the pipes and not the motor boiling

    1909

THE YEAR 1909 This will boggle your mind, I know it did mine! The year is 1909. One hundred years ago. What a difference a century makes! Here are some statistics for the Year 1909 : ************ ********* ********* ****** The average life expectancy was 47 years. Only 14 percent of the homes had a bathtub. Only 8 percent of the homes had a telephone. There were only 8,000 cars and only 144 miles of paved roads. The maximum speed limit in most cities was 10 mph. The tallest structure in the world was the Eiffel Tower The average wage in 1909 was 22 cents per hour. The average worker made between $200 and $400 per year . A competent accountant could expect to earn $2000 per year, A dentist $2,500 per year, a veterinarian between $1,500 and $4,000 per year, and a mechanical engineer about $5,000 per year. More than 95 percent of all births took place at HOME. Ninety percent of all doctors had NO COLLEGE EDUCATION! Instead, they attended so-called medical schools, many of which Were condemned in the press AND the government as 'substandard. ' Sugar cost four cents a pound. Eggs were fourteen cents a dozen. Coffee was fifteen cents a pound. Most women only washed their hair once a month, and used Borax or egg yolks for shampoo. Canada passed a law that prohibited poor people from Entering into their country for any reason. Five leading causes of death were: 1. Pneumonia and influenza 2. Tuberculosis 3. Diarrhea 4. Heart disease 5. Stroke The American flag had 45 stars. The population of Las Vegas, Nevada, was only 30!!!! Crossword puzzles, canned beer, and ice tea Hadn't been invented yet. There was no Mother's Day or Father's Day. Two out of every 10 adults couldn't read or write. Only 6 percent of all Americans had Graduated from high school. Marijuana, heroin, and morphine were all available over the counter at the local corner drugstores. Back then pharmacists said, "Heroin clears the complexion, gives buoyancy to the mind, regulates the stomach and bowels, and is, in fact, a perfect guardian of health." ( Shocking? DUH! ) Eighteen percent of households had at least One full-time servant or domestic help. There were about 230 reported murders in the ENTIRE U.S.A. ! I am now going to forward this to someone else without typing it myself. From there, it will be sent to others all over theWORLD - all in a matter of seconds! Try to imagine what it may be like in another 100 years. IT STAGGERS THE MIND
  6. Copy of the email from Clarke manufacturing
  7. Google is your friend. Look up what molecular means. I never mentioned the level in my tank changing or putting anything in the freezer, or gas pouring through the plastic. Contact IMS if you want and they will tell you exactly the same thing. By the way my tank does not keep any secrets from me.
  8. Fuel gets through the plastic on a molecular level which causes your graphics to peel off. The only thing that may help is to get graphics with holes punched in them. I still have to try it on mine. FMF graphics and one industries are full of holes, and you may be able to order graphics that are perforated direct from the manufacturer. Just search online and ask some questions
  9. Do you think a 10 year old 450, if there was such an animal would be in perfect shape. Don't blame the machine, especially if you know nothing about fixing it. In 10 years, countless idiots could have fucked with it. There are quiet a few banshees from the 80's still running strong on the forum. Weather it is a Banshee or 450, it is going to have problems sooner or later. Buy a manual and start learning or gibe up on owning a quad.
  10. have you tried putting it together without washer #4 #5 has to tighten up against #1 to lock the adjuster in place. It looks like you are sandwiching the lockup in there and that is why the bearing cant spin. The lockup/pressureplate should only be held on by the screws and springs
  11. It should only roll freely when in neutral.
  12. Gnarlys are low end pipes. Good for tight trails.
  13. That thread has been on here before. The consensus was that they are a better all round pipe than the Fatty, so kinda good
  14. FMF Gold series are the old FMF pipes before they made Gold series Fattys and Gold Series SST's.
  15. If your clutch is slipping you will not get any metal clanking noises. the revs will just stay high and it wont pull. Metal clanking noises sound like your chain is skipping teeth on the sprocket. Check your swingarm and carrier bearings as well.
  16. 214 kilometers per hour on that. :yelrotflmao: Retards
  17. When I ran un-ported juggs with FMF fatty's and a K&N I had 300 mains and 27.5 pilots at sea level.
  18. Check the screen on your fuel valve. Sometimes they get full of crap. Also check that your gas cap is breathing right. Either of these will cut down fuel flow to the carbs. With porting and the CPIs, VF3s and pods in your profile, 340 jets may be a bit small.
  19. around 300 to 320 main and put in a 27.5 pilot
  20. Did you grind a the piece of the carb that the idle screw goes into. If you don't, the screw wont go in far enough.
  21. Boneyard is right, it is not part of the TORS. It is wired to the CDI
  22. You can try to get a metal screw into the seal and try to pull it out using a pliers. Might take a bit of patience as the seal is pretty small. When you put the new one in make sure to put tape over the splines at the end of the shaft so you don't damage the new seal. It will be pretty difficult to get it to go back in straight. A deep reach socket the same size as the seal may work to help get it in straight.
  23. I did the same thing, but backed off 1/4 turn. Remember to let all the slack out at the clutch perch. assemble the clutch and pressure plate without springs or screws and tighten the adjuster till it contacts (the pressure plate will move). Then back out a bit and tighten up. The arrow thing to get the clutch set is too complicated. You have to take off the carbs or have freaky fingers like ET to get it done that way. Asking the wife to help usually is not an option.
  24. Look for a pair of ATV boots. They look like motocross boots but dont have all the steel in the sole. You can actually walk in them.
  25. Check out the amrracing website. cheaper than fleabay
