  1. well i thaught i just about had it now when i touch the throttle sometimes its like i hit the kill switch off and on real quick. could this be a tors problem? im hardly hitting the trottle hard enough to move the slides.
  2. got em apart and the clips are in the middle. should i stay there or go up one?
  3. alright im headin out now to check it all out. what do u think my clip should be at? im just over 2000ft
  4. it seems to work a bit better since its gotten cooler. i have 27.5 pilots, air screws 2 turns out, not sure about needle im gonna assume stock setting, 290 main a bit rick i think. plugs are dark brown after a ride. i have a trail port, shaved head, air box with lid and 8 1"holes in it, +4 timing, fmf gnarly with pc 2's stock carbs. it works awesome when i wanna go fast but slow is a diff story. 125psi on each cylinder
  5. when im riding along with my shee slow with a steady throttle it will run smooth for a bit then it gets kinda rough. if i take it into the powerband and then back down its good again for a bit. is this a pilot problem, needle setting, or sync? my main is a size to big. my plug is dark brown. it also has a bog off idle. second question i wanna paint my rusty chrome headers black. how do i do that so it will last?
  6. i shut the gas off, stand it up, stand behind it, kick it over a few times and she fires up, drop it down quick, turn the gas on and the choke on and she runs great. funny.. yes, effective.. yes. i can kick it 100 times with it on 4 wheels and nothing. could it be a pilot problem? its got a fresh topend with 125 psi at 2500ft
  7. when my shee is cold it wont start unless i stand it up on the grab bar. it will start then with about 3 kicks and i have to drop it quick and turn the gas back on then its ok. when its warmed up it seems hard to get rolling from a stop i have to rev it up and slip the clutch but once i get past 1/4 throttle hang the f@!$ on. i have 27.5 pilots in it could they be too big?
  8. ported and bored the jugs, got the head milled, trued and welded the crank, new wiseco pistons, and adjustabe timing plate set at +4.
  9. it could be the air or the 1400$ rebuild. i didnt get any vids this time but we will di it again.
  10. well the rebuild is done. i didnt bother racing the 400z this time i went for the 700 raptor with a pipe and fuel programmer. i was about a quad length ahead of him on the bottom and stayed about that way to the top untill i remembered it had 6 gears then i was gone. the best part was he weighs 150 lbs and i am 250 lbs. i think its working right now.
  11. Yamalube. The fuel sat for 2 months in the tank and I added another 50 ml just to be on the safe side I'm sure that's way too much and I shouldn't have been so lazy and went for some new stuff.
  12. Just rebuilt my shee. Started it and let it run for about 5 min then let it cool. Did that twice. Gas was mixed pretty strong. Ended up taking the top end off because I was hearing a noise. All was good in the except there was a lot of oil that was black. Is this normal from idling too much or am I sucking oil from my trans? Btw the noise ended up being a loose stator.
  13. Thanks that's what I thaught just bein safe I'd hate to toss all that money away.
  14. just rebuilt mu engine and i want to make sure i am mixing my gas right (been on a thumper for too long) i have 20 litres of gas how much ol should i add? i want to run 32:1. is there a formula to figure it out?
  15. I'm getting my crank welded a buddy said he would do it for free but he only has a mig welder will that work or does it have to be tig?
