  1. Trailtech Vapor is super easy to install and only needs calibration for the speedo
  2. Only re-bore how much is needed after getting it measured correctly. No point going up 2 piston sizes if you dont need to.
  3. If you are ever near Vancouver, give me a shout
  4. I dont know about the soda blasting, but you need to get the bores measured and maybe re-bored. There is a lot of blow-by on the rings that probably caused the carbon in the transfers. A fresh top end with correct clearances will fix that. Not sure what happened to the exhaust ports. you never know what people have done before you own something. You could try clean it up with a sanding wheel that fits on a dremel.
  5. Dont be scared of mud. It washes off
  6. No, your floats control the amount of fuel in the carbs
  7. No, just a headache, and pisses other people off
  8. If your engine was cold when you started it, and it blows out immediately then you better pull the head off and take a look. Head gasket is blown or head is cracked in a big way.
  9. Put some grease in there and put it back together with a thicker o ring or use 2 o rings. That will stop sand and dirt getting in and jamming it up.
  10. I agree check the parking brake. Knee high water should not have caused a problem though. Super clean Banshee. Looks like stock tires too. How often do you ride her.
  11. Are you getting porting with benefits?
  12. Cutting the plastics is easy. just take your time and don't rush. Use masking tape or painters tape to mark the lines and make sure you are happy before you cut. Then sand down the cuts to get a smooth finish. You may as well make a list of what you want, and whenever you have enough money to but something you just cross it off the list. Trust me, the list will never end. 1 part at a time and you will get there By the way, nice pipes on your ride.
  13. WTF. Threads? Helicoil? cover the hole? You must be running some of those cheap shit vertex pistons or something to have threads in your piston.
  14. Your post is a little confusing. can you post a pic
  15. When I bought my Banshee, she came with brand new 23 inch front tires. Do you think that they are affecting the handling in any way. I am just wondering if she will ride better with 21's.
  16. I have lived in 6 countries, in the city and out in butt fuck nowhere, and I recon Vancouver is top of the list. Gets a bit depressing in in the winter though with all the rain.
  17. Check the head where the coolant is coming out of the studs. There may be a crack. Hairline cracks are difficult to see.
  18. How exactly are you doing the plug chop
  19. ATV Piston by Vertex We wanted a lightweight cast piston that would outlast the OEM and aftermarket forged pistons. The fact that we cast our pistons enabled us to increase the silicone content to an unprecedented 18-21% which gives our Vertex pistons a fantastic life span compared to other pistons on the market. :down What a joke You are going to love the way she runs with good parts and porting. Just get her back together.
  20. Anyone interested in going out for a rip this weekend
  21. You can purchase an outerwears cover that fits on your airbox with velcro in place of the cover.
  22. If you are from Long island, how come you have a Canadian beaver in your sig. Not that I am complaining or anything
