  1. What kind of port job do you want,or what kind of riding do you do? If you get a trail port,with those pistons it will run closer to a drag port,due to the cut dome on the super stock pistons.It will run good, but the life of those pistons are not as good as wiseco pistons .
  2. Sounds to me like the steel plates are getting hot and warping,therefore taking up all the clutch freeplay.I think its time for a new clutch kit.
  3. You sold good pipes. your not going to see better gains from dmcs or toomeys.
  4. Trinity is not the only place for porting.
  5. Sounds like the adjuster on the clutch basket came loose.Make suse you adjust it and tighten good before you install side case.
  6. Go back to 30 pilots and your mains could be small .A good ported banshee can take up to 400mains no problem. Put your air lid back on and if it seems to run faster then you are lean.
  7. T-6 s or Pro circuits both will crush Pual Turners and I have used them all and ported many.
  8. With a all around port job those pipes work great.Better than most know,and as fas as 2-1 pipes you will going back to duel pipes if you waste your money.
  9. 300 mains sound small to me if you have a good port job.
  10. You can do more than that.If your using a reed that is solid at the tip,you can grind about 3/16 out of the divider.This gives you more area to get fuel.
  11. That is a good price on that crank. It will not work with the pistons you have. The better way to go is that crank,wiseco stroker pistons,no spacers,cool head with domes machined for the stroker. Then raise your port timing a little. pistons@ trinity,twister crank shaft,racers edge and many other shops.If i was you I stear clear of vitos products,just my bad luck past. Good luck
  12. I would say piped banshee and not Turner junk.But if modify a banshee to much kiss your fuel economy good buy . Thats why I now ride a Raptor.
  13. You should be safe with 93 octane. Race gas doesnt give you more power anyways ,just keep from detenation under higher compression like over 160 psi.
  14. Did you check the price of a new one from yamaha?
  15. sell the heavy bandits and get razrs or holeshots.Get your compression up to atleast 150lbs for better response out of the turns.If you really want a faster shee get it ported, and dont let people tell you to buy different pipes.Good luck
  16. 26mm exhaust thats for high rev not much torque unless you have high comnpresion.
  17. 1 Wiseco 4mm long rod crank 2 pistons that match,yes there diffirent pin height 3 cool head,with cut domes for stroker 4 a little port work to match 5 standard base gaskets Do jetting, and your flying. There are other combos and set ups,but rest asure they do not run as good or last as long.Been there done all of this.Good Luck You also dont have to spend $400 bucs to get your porting done to match either. A you dont have to have 34mm carbs.
  18. Blaster pistons have a different wrist pin heighth.Blaster pistons are to be run with a different crank.Yes you will have to resleeve if it has stock cylider sleeves.
  19. Yeah there right trust the builder unless he wants to empty your wallet.What kind of riding are you going to do.alot of people will tell you what they have,even though they have not tryed many combos.Good luck and yea it does not take a big bore to meke a shee fast.
  20. Man you guys sure can spend a guys money in hurry. remove TORS shave head 13 tooth front sprocket Razr tires K-n or uni filter rejet Fmf Gnarlys if you want the best trail pipe Oh yea youl get used to the thumb throttle Now you got alot of learning to do and I hope your good with a wrench.
  21. Dont start just buying parts,its could be something simple.

It could be several things. detenation- eating away piston ,not enough octane if compression is over160 lean condition- melting top piston getting to hot If your port job is good 300 mains will not do the job.learn about jetting or pay someone to do it for you,rebuilds will cost you more.I say you will need closer to 400 mains .More fuel is better than not enough fuel.Good luck Oh yea 91 octane for 20 ,21,22, domes only.
  23. shop around and get a wiseco crank.There are alot of guys upgrading to strokers,and selling there perfectly fine stock ones.
  24. The pro circuits are better than FMF hands down. Just ask most engine builders.
