  1. You need pipes first and yes port it if you want it fast.
  2. Adjust your clutch lever so you have the adjuster about 3/4 of the way in. Now loosen the adjuster at the basket, screw the phillips screwin until snug now tighten the lock nut. Does your clutch feel right now,if so install the side case.Always have a little play at the lever,so you do not burn up your plates. The screws do break quit easily and often on the basket.
  3. Doubt it ,are you loosing gear oil?
  4. You have to machine out the old ones and have a machinist install the new ones. $100- 150 per side. Shop around, and look in the back of magazines. You are better off to have someone who does this everyday, they can screw up your sleeves. You will need your new pistons, so they can do the final bore and hone also.make sure the ports are chamfered when done to.The proper way for this to be done,is heat the jug and cool the sleeve, and slide in place. Now it fights tight.
  5. A 4mm crank (wiseco) cool head with cut domes 28mm carbs Pro circuit pipes my back yard port job, which is probally better than most. This is the set up I built my buddy last season, and it run great. It even gave the cheetas a tuff time. No BS ,he dragged it and flat tracked it. You can build this for your money, but I would look real hard ut the cub cylinders.
  6. Why have you ruled out other brands.Circuits have a broader, longer power band.Much easier to ride wheelies.Oh how I wasted so much $$$$$ on banshee pipes. You will see all kinds of set ups and many run great.
  7. best bang for the buc is Pro Circuits, and yes I have owned most brands .And smoked many brands, even T-5s all the time.
  8. I hope I see someone on your bike, I would not even take a grand for recovery fee.Hope you get her back.
  9. Did you ever try dual pipes. My guess is your ported cylinders are being choked up by your pipes.I understand you want torque, but you dont want to have to shift as soon as you get to mid range either. The new fourstrokes will rev,so your banshee better too.My .02 worth.
  10. We need your tire size to help. Also what are your mods. You are geared to low unless you have bigger tires.
  11. I agree but everyone ,almost everyone puts T-5s on a super pedestal.Thats funny I never needed T-5s to win races.Thats drags and flat trak.
  12. Alot of guys want more top end ,maybe you could find someone to trade you even up.How far are they ported on the exhaust side.26,27,28mm? Have you raised your compression to help the lower end response.
  13. If you do go with the Vitos 4mm standard rod it does use a stock piston. The 4mm stroker with the + 5mm rod takes a blaster piston or the wiseco 795 series. The blaster pistons are for the bigger bores = 2mm and up. From my experience buy the wiseco stroker, with cut domes for a cool head.Oh yea you dont need a big bore to get fast just a good port job.
  14. Only 6 seconds, looks like you better no do much flat track racing. If jetted right you can run the crap out of a banshee.Wind her up and let er go!
  15. Did you foul your plugs in the process?
  16. what kind of reeds were you using with the center divider completely removed?
  17. That may be your case but most engine builders would laugh at that comment.
  18. You will only need 100 octane at the most for 19 cc domes.
  19. Wiseco all the way,ask any engine builder.
  20. Its easier to pack them and UPS them than drive three hours.
  21. What set up did you use to allow for the extra stroke. Cut domes,or spacer plate?
  22. Now for the Vitos made only by wiceco is BS. I bought the 404 big bore and they were junk cast pistons which did not hold up for sh!t . The super stocks are good but are a shorter piston, therefore they rock in the bore easier and crack the skirts easier.Vitos got cheap and started to let some other company produce cheaper pistons.I even talked to a Wiseco rep on this matter. So run your your Vitos pistons to long and you will find out yourself.
  23. If you dont have to jet up for a performance pipe, that tells me your not getting much better power. 2 cylinders- 2 pipes = faster banshee
  24. If you want to go faster ,get rid of you r sprockets " you said you geared down" ?
  25. Heres a quik try for you, take the air box lid off .make a short wide open run,if it runs better your rich.Is our tube between the carbs on. Did you check your spark. You sould not be rich with 200 or 210 mains.
