  1. Boy did I open a can of worms for all you d@* Trinity fans.Yes their was a pipe shoot out just in the last year or two .I will have to research. I do banshee mods and I can tell you everbody gets ripped on these engine jobs. Tell me why a 10mm stroker crank is the same price as a whole freeking honda Crf 50 bike for my boy!<or the price of a cheeta kit $2000.00. Talk about profit .Just stop and think about that a minute, sucks dont it.I do personally know some body who had two set of stainless pipes that blew out at the cylinders, and yes Trinity did make it right for him.
  2. I just dont like how their pipes are rarely in dyno shootouts in the magazines.Maybe for a good reason ?.Get the stroker long rod and port. You dont have to have a big bore, just compare raptor660 vrs yfz 450.
  3. S ome like twist, some like thumb. If you ride your shee like i do,i would be dead by now with a twist.Twist is nicer for holding on in the ruts.Thumb is nicer when you have to let off when climbing steep a$$ hills,or a staight up and down wheelie.
  4. Save your money. I personally do porting, and own a big bore stroker . A 350 with good porting will rip, throw in a wiseco 4mm long rod stroker and even faster.I have seen many big bores beat by a 350 with a good set up.I am not saying a bore cant work, but not always worth the extra dough. If your determined to go big bore call Twister crankshaft racing.
  5. Are you racing in sand or dirt, or asphalt?. I use your gearing with 18s for dirt and track then switch to 20s for trail .
  6. Keep what you have, their better.
  7. Switch the plug caps and see if it goes to the other side. This will tell you if it is spark or not. Have you changed plugs lately. Possible problems spark fuel delivery cranks seal head gasket leaking compression Good luck
  8. I say i owned most pipes out there and it is foolish all the money I have wasted. For all around Pro Circuits are better than FMFs,especially if you are going to drag once in a while.Spend your money on the engine keep the pipes you have unless you build 400 or bigger. FMF gnarlys are great for the trails.I do banshee porting so I have seen many set ups.I seen my brothers with a ported and gnarlys win even 1/2 mile flat track races, and beet many others. So mostly is set up and proper tuning.
  9. I would like to see a dyno of Trinty vrs CPI . The only thing that scares me about trinity ,they say their pipes work on all motors and sizes. They may work but what set up do they work the best on.
  10. You need # 30 pilot jets ,and 260 to 280 mains. The 32:1 oil ratio will make your crank last longer. What Vitos pistons did you get Stock replacements, power pistons, or super stock pistons.Did you install new plugs and head gasket?
  11. I dont know how they perform, but the exuast bridge should make them hold op better.
  12. when putting o rings in apply grease to them to hold them in place,so they dont fall out or get pinched.
  13. being you say your not jumping alot theres no need to spend alot of$$ ,unless you have money to burn. you may want to even consider YFZ 450 shocks.
  14. Degree keys only shear off if you donot tighten flywheel enough. My buddies and I have used for years.
  15. Me too ,for years and no problems.
  16. sounds to me like you need to make a phone call and bitch.what kind of oil and did you mix it?
  17. What size tires do you run? If stock go down 1 up front or up three in the rear.If you chain is stretched ,the rear being bigger will help.
  18. (Soon have an Eric Gorr woods port job).If this is the case get wiseco not vitos.Call the fellow thats going to port your cylinders,he will tell u .
  19. customer support if they fail quikly.
  20. Best thing is to call the pipe manufacter. They designed it,not us. I run 2 years on 260 if warm out, thats if your not ported.30 pilots
  21. You could be lean like others tell you. you also dont need that much octane, mix 50/50 with gas.More octane dont make you run better ,just prevents detenation. If somebody gave you a good port job you could need up to 400 mains ,been there done that.
  22. Oh I get it your banshee goes from 0 to 10,000 rpm with nothing in the mid rpms.If your getting traction you will need power at all rpm s. And yes I raced for 2 years here in PA, on 300 feet dirt track. So maybe you should tell Trinity to stop building cheetas, because there power valves arent needed .You only need a 10.000 rpm motor.
  23. Its going to rip. But would run better with CPIs and two carbs not one.
  24. Thats the one good part of a steel swinger ,get it welded.
  25. $100 bucs for a bent axel! Now thats what I call a salesman!
