170 mains sounds like you have kiehn carbs.

It takes one he!! of a good 250 to beat a banshee with less money invested . From what i have seen at the drag strips all 250 s pushing a big piston and storker dont hold up long .They really suck on the flat track . Not my opinion , just what i have seen in the last 2 years.

To bad it will be a fuel hog you could not even take out for a good ride.As far as im concerned you probally better off with a street bike engine .Getting out of controll on engine prices. Think about it 1 crankshaft cost as much as a honda crf 50 for my boy . one piece verses a whole bike , now who is making profit ? beautty though .

when I bougt fattys long time ago fmf said 260 mains and 30 pilots Iit ran good at all rpms. do some plug readings when you get it broke in
