  1. [ what ever brand you buy do not get a oiless compressor. anything that makes friction needs lubricant,especally if you want long life. Ingersoll-rand emglo home depot lowes craftsman
  2. Tires are part of your gearing also, what size are you running 18-20-22 ?
  3. No stock pilots are to small . You need 27.5 or 30 . Just call FMF they will tell you.
  4. Just depends how fast you blast through water holes. I always ran uncovered ,but quit often it got wet . the shee would run like crap for the next half hour then.

  6. banshee,s have two pipes for a reason. Toss the two into one pipe or I shouild say sell it.There is a reason why not many people run them. What size sprockets are on it ?

  9. Go wiseco 4mm crank and port job. Keep your pipes for now and forget the big bore,especcially if your going to flat trak. This set up for the money is the best bang for the buck. Also go cool head with stroker domes,no spacer plates.
  10. Flywheel keys are to index the timing, not to hold the flywheel.You could go without a key if you could hold the mark until tight. If you dont tighten the flywheel to specs you will shear any key ,just some easier than others.
  11. Klotz is fine. I was told Wiseco does all their testing with Klotz. I run 32:1 just because oil is cheaper than a crank. I always shake the can just to make sure its mixed.

  13. The more oil you mix with gas the thicker it is. Less will go through your jets,so you are going backwards on your winter mix. Just stay at one mix at all times.

  15. A die grinder or dremel like said before. Carefully grind the outer race until you see a crack, then it will tap right out. Try a long punch or something to drive out first.

One carb would not fill both cylinders unless you had a two inti one carb setup.Also all engines cylinders are seperated,in order for them to share anything you would have to have a bad head gasket or broken crankcase. Nobody is playing games with you on your shee ? Was it water or gas in your pipes.

  19. Do you guys get commission or something.There is a ton of people who do porting.It doesnt take rocket science,just some measurements and some know how. Not to mention I can send cylinders to any builder and I have his specs, if hes giving u your moneys worth.I stated porting in my garage a few years ago,and my buddies and I have not been beat by the big names on the 1/2 mile track. Yes alot of engines do run good but for $200-300 bucs in porting by some run just as good as others .
  20. alot of people have them,but not many want to give up.If you use them,make the exuast hole more arched on top to create longer wear on rings.This prevents rings from snagging the hole as easy.About 27mm from too deck to top of exuast hole,and shee will rev.
  21. Is your filters clean and reasonbly oiled.If it runs great ,run it that way.when you installed pilots did you play with your air screws.Mine run fine with 30 pilot and 260 mains during warm weather.
  22. Go FMF gnarly for your applictaion.
  23. Does not sound like clutch, it will slip in the higher gears.Make sure your clutch cable is not to tight . There ishould be some pklay at your lever.
