  1. PM me if you still need rear hubs.
  2. So you replaced your old ported cylinders with new non ported cylinders? If this is the case and you are in florida run a 27.5 pilot, 300 main, and the needle clip 4th from the top. That should be very close.
  3. Check your plugs, wires, and reeds. These are the most common. Let us know what you try and we will help. I just went through this and the reeds were the problem, what a headache.
  4. Unless I'm turning while hitting a mudhole real fast I Don't get anything on me, the backs sling more on me and I still have the back fenders.
  5. How hard is your bike to crank and how does it run? Did you have the throttle wide open while doing the compression test.
  6. You also might not be getting the right amount of gas to the carbs or your float height might be wrong.
  7. It's sounds to me like you might have an air leak, what is your elevation.
  8. I've always been told the big bore kits have a lot of torque, but are easy to over rev. You are better off with a stroker.
  9. I run the toomey jet kit for several years with no problem, now I run 310 mains and a 27.5 pilot with needle clip in the fourth position. I am at sea level.
  10. Spend your money on some better tires or a shorter swingarm for more traction.
  11. I don't know my rpm's but my gps said I was doing 83.6 with 15-42 gearing and no portwork.
  12. Run 4 psi for the float in soft sand, higher is good for hard pack surfaces.
  13. Try 40:1 mix ratio and jet your mains no larger than 300's at sea level.
  14. If your talking about while you wash it, I use a plastic walmart bag to slip over the pods.
  15. Glad someone cleared that up, I just hate to see someone have theirs come apart on them.
  16. Sounds like the carb might need cleaning, I've ridden one with aftermarket pipe and was not rejetted and it popped and surged bad. Could be the plug also and check the valve clearance. Air filter could need cleaning. Just spitting out ideas.
  17. I had a similar problem, swap the reed cages from one cylinder to the other and see if the problem follows or put a different set on to check it out. Also buy a spark tester, they are only like 8 bucks. One other thing see if the top of the spark plug is unscrewing, had that happen to.
  18. I've seen on here before that a lightened ricky stator flywheel will come apart, that it is not recommended to cut them.
  19. I felt a great increase from it, mostly in the first 3 gears. Definately a great mod for the money.
  20. I don't care if you type in caps, it does not bother me at all. What bothers me is when people copy every thing mentioned in previous post including pictures and turn a 10 page thrad into a 20 page thread.
  21. Don't take more than .030 off without having the domes recut or it will run worse. I'm at sea level and had .025 taken off mine and run 150psi compression and runs good on 93.
  22. Great looking bike, where can I buy a set new at, possibly mounted on rims.
  23. Sounds like your decision is made, good choice.
  24. V force is not worth it unless you are ported, port your own cages with tdr reeds=40 bucks, get the head milled=50 bucks, get adjustable timing plate=35. That still leaves some money to play with and I would put that into air filter setup and ditch stock airbox. Porting the reed cages is easy, if you were local I would do them for you.
  25. I tried plugging mine and it run like crap up to mid throttle.
