  1. Looks like I will give crj a try.
  2. I paid 230 for a complete top end rebuild kit from vito's, 30 for bore and hone to the cylinders. It only took like 2 hours to put it back together and being carefull to not miss anything. It is real easy to do. I will not do a rebuild without bore and hone.
  3. Wish you lived close, we would have to deal. Not the type of deal I'm willing to make long distance. Nice collection though.
  4. The slides have a groove in one side and will only sit all the way down turned one way, if you have them in the right carbs the cutout faces the airbox. If they are in the wrong carbs and sit all the way down the cutout will face the front.
  5. Looks like what I'm thinking of but did not see one for a banshee. Thanks.
  6. Definately not a sway bar, this is a bracket that goes across the front under the hood and connects to both upper shock mounts and has new shock mounts higher up to lower the shee.
  7. The clutch is the direct link from your engine to the rear wheels. If the clutch does not grab you have no go.
  8. Who makes the front lowering kits that is a cross bracket instead of individual brackets like the durablue. I've seen this on a raptor and it is much stronger than the normal kits which put a lot of stress on the frame shock mounts.
  9. Yeah that sucks, I have to ride down the street to ride around some fields in my neighborhood but I try to take it real easy cause I don't want the cops called and catch me on the street.
  10. It will work till you get the idle kit, you just have to keep it reved with the throttle or it will shut off when you let off the gas. You can adjust the carb tops and keep it running but it is not recommended because you loose your throttle freeplay.
  11. If it revs right but does not go it is the clutch, if it won't rev it could be reeds or tors if you have not removed it.
  12. I am planning on doing it myself, has anyone used the guys on ebay that you send yours to them and they lighten it. They have good feedback just curios if anyone has used them.
  13. There was nothing wrong with my bike, but stock pipes and ported is pretty equal to aftermarket pipes and no porting. I would not beleived it if I did not see it. The only bike that could clearly smoke him had t5's and porting.
  14. I have ridden with a guy that had stock pipes with a port and shaved head and he run as strong as me with T5's and he was quiet as stock.
  15. Where in the croatan is the atv track going to be. I've been to maysville and it is great for dirtbikes but not much for 4 wheelers.
  16. It would take a couple of hours but Busco beach in Goldsboro is a great place to ride. I went once and there is a lot of trails and sand pits with some hills to climb.
  17. Go with the T5's. They pull great on top and respond well to porting.
  18. I might try to drop back to the 30 on pilots but it cranks and idles real well now. I'm gonna throw a new set of plugs in and see how they look. I can't beleive how easy it is to reverse the slides and it still run, should have checked the clymers manual but just overlooked it.
  19. Send Jim your set and lets see what they are about. I'm sure you will get them back or he would replace with something equal value.
  20. It made a slight difference when my shee was stock, but with pipes and all it hurt my bottem end.
  21. Get a spark tester from an auto parts store, they are only about 8 bucks and well worth it.
  22. For the type of riding you will be doing I would stick with the pipes you have. You are doing a lot of riding that requires bottem end and the fatties are good for that.
  23. I have run boyeson reeds for a couple of years on ported cages and they are good reeds. I recently had to replace my reeds and chose tdr reeds because of the good reviews people give on the HQ. The tdr's are also cheaper than the boyeson.
  24. You hit the nail on the head banchetta, I had the slides in backwards so they were in the wrong carbs. Thanks for all the help.
  25. Your reeds could be sticking on that cylinder also.
