  1. well im bout to get this motor back in, this is what it has. Wiseco Crank (stk stroke), wiseco .020 pistons, white bros boost bottle, k & N, FMF gold series fatty headers, with power core 2 silencers. The jetting that it was running before the oversized pistons and crank and running in the warm weather (75-85 degrees F) was a 290 main, not sure on the pilot. Should i just bump it up to a 300 or 310 main now with the bigger pistons and it getting colder outside? (40-60 degrees F) im at 800 ft above sea level. and you already know what i got and temperatur. thanks for the help. and how much more on the pilot if any.??? recommendations?
  2. ok kool thanks guys, imma get those cases back together soon, if i need help, ill ask you guys, and im going to follow your guide bigred, this kid has no idea what hes doing, i do, if itook it apart, but when he tried to put 4 washers onto the idler gear i was like, aaaaa ill put it back together, thanks anyway. ill take pictures if i need help, thanks again.
  3. well i went and looked, it looks like im not missing that one clip, but just to make sure, how many of those clips are there???
  4. ok thanks for the help, now i know im only missing one, i wonder where i could get one??
  5. anyone?? how many, and are the only on the bottom part of the crankcase??
  6. Ok i have my cases split on my 95 banshee, im puttin in a new crank, to make a long story short, i need to know how many of those C clips or whatever you want to call them, that line up the bearings inside the case. they are half moon jobbies, i didnt split my cases, my buddy did, and i didnt see how many there were, i went to put it back together tonight and i kno im missing one. But are there C clips that go on the bottom and top of the case(or bearing) so that they would make an "O"? or are they just on the botoom half of the case? im missin the C clip that goes on the small side of the mainshaft that has 2 shift forks holding it in place.
  7. alright we'll try that, there is already a master link in the chain so ill just take a link out that way, ill still have to do a little grinding but thats ok.... ill let ya kno how it works
  8. well i went to tighten my buddies chain on his banshee, i loosend the 2 side colts so i could move the chain back. Its on the tightest it can go and the chain still have about 4 inches of play in it.........Is there anyway i could take out some links in the chain to make it tighter? He also put a 13t sprocket on, and we goin on a trip on thursday and hes on a budget, he doesnt ahve the money to buy a new chain... Any ideas?
  9. the cabrs have been cleaned, so i guess ill jsut have to pull of the left reed cage and tkae a gander.. prolyl wont be till this weekend, its cold outside
  10. i have a 2001 Banshee w/ FMF gnarly series pipes, White Bros boost bottle, K and N air filter, and jetted with 290 mains at about 800 ft, the temp out is around 40 degrees... ok now my question is... When I start it, i pull out the choke and kick it about 2 - 4 times and she startes right up, but sometimes it runs on only the right cylinder. Ill take off and it does its normal "im cold, so i have no power" run, then as soon as it gets warm, it runs fine... but if pull u some where and stop...and let it sit for a few, itll run on the right cylinder and bog at low rpn until i get the rpms up then both of them kick in, and theres all the power. also if its jsut runnin on the right cylinder, if i pull the choke out the left one starts to run fine... any ideas why it does this???
  11. i jsut fixed my buddys banshee that wasnt getting any spark, happens to be that the orange wire going to the coil was unplugged, make sure its plugged it and the black ground wire. check ur spark plug caps, make sure they are screwed into the wire nice n tight. If those are both good. then you probably jsut have a bad coil.. also check and make sure your kill siwtch is on lol not calling you dumb, but hey you enver kno haha, hope this helps..
  12. All right I GOT IT RUNNING PERFECTLY!!!! YAY!!!! ahahahaha, come to find out, my slides were set way to high, so i set them all the way down, and adjusted the golden idle screws, and it runs great now, thanks for everyones help!!!!! couldnt of did it with out you guys haha...
