  1. old broncos and scouts like that are bad ass for off-roading, My buddies got 2 old broncos, 1 he's restoring and the other is a beater that he takes out and beats the crap out of. I've always wanted to build a mean street Bronco with like a 383 or 396 stroker and dropped about 3" just because its not something you really see.
  2. Count me in
  3. You want to know the best alarm system ever, 1) unplug your ignition system (the actual multi-wire plug thats only a few inches off the Ignition box 2) get a bis ass dog 3) get a 12 guage... and your good to go
  4. What you do is buy a cool head then get big bore domes for it. Call jeff at F.A.S.T. he's one of the site sponsors. And it uses rubber o-rings that are much better, yes. The can be re-used alot of the time and the are more durable and last longer
  5. Put Banshee HQ under the logo, then on the front put "All banshees all the time", but it looks good
  6. Yeah I got you, Im sure there will be like I said if you can get these for cheap like that
  7. Cant help you with the swinger but look in the for sale section JD at JDS customs (87sheerips) as a drag seat for sale
  8. You'd be better off putting this in the for sale forum. I am rebuilding my motor, but I would get one in a month or so... Im sure there would be alot more people that would buy them if you can get them for sheap like that because they are too expensive.
  9. Kaos makes a good point. Once you get started your banshee will "take your wallet hostage" (quoted from Savage420). Welcome to the HQ, you'll find everything you need to know here.
  10. the idle to half throttle will be your pilot jets and your clip, but your mains are way high man, Im at like the same sea level over here on the east side of town but i have... Toomey T-5's, aggressive trail port, wiseco prolites, 20cc dome cool head, +4 timing, eliminated air box lid, welded crank, and ported reeds with dual stage petals and I was using 330's in my carbs to do my heat cycles when it was 50 degrees out I think I was a little lean and should have gone to 340's but with all the other mods and 20 degrees cooler, I would think it's something else.
  11. Thats a good idea I might have to try this.
  12. Had a few requests for pics so here they are, the pistons are STD. bore, I have a couple people interested, but these things are going on Ebay also so if anyone is interested let me know ASAP This piston has a small scratch from installation, it just rubbed the one of the engine studs when I was putting them in. No damage what so ever.
  13. haha yeah well, what can I say... its that bug
  14. Forgot... the cylinders, do have the extended studs for the cool head, and I'd like to still use them so, the crank and pistons are for sale first unless anyone needs the cyls. and can use the extended studs.
  15. start it up, fluctuate the throttle, dont let it idle or rev out, do this for 5-10 minutes untill at operating temperature then shut it off and let it cool. Do this about 3 times then re-torque all the bolts
  16. Decided to sell, see for sale post For sale for updated prices and info.
  17. OK I did decide I wanted to sell it so here we go...Stock crank with new bearings Trued and welded by Wildcard Racing, Agressive trail ported cylinders with new black ceramic coating on the outside, and new wiseco pro-lite pistons. The whole set-up only has 20 minutes of runtime, all its gone through is the initial heat cycles and nothing more. Want to sell as a package deal for $590 shipped and maybe do $390 shipped for just the crank and pistons. Will get pics if someone is serious in buying, the motor is together right now and I dont want to pull apart unless I have serious inquiries. I may accept offers, but the prices do include shipping and this stuff is brand new. I will also consider parting it out if I have offers on all parts.
  18. I live in Anchorage
  19. Great guy to work with and he does some awsome work

    Great guy fast shipping.
  21. Considering selling... Stock crank with new bearings Trued and welded by Wildcard Racing, Agressive trail ported cylinders done by a local shop however I have been working with Brandon at Wildcard and it is a good port job and done right, 20cc cool head domes and new wiseco pro-lite pistons. The whole set-up only has 20 minutes of runtime, all its gone through is the initial heat cycles and nothing more. Want to sell as a package deal for $625 shipped
  22. It will last till it goes out haha. If the rod play is ok then use it. mise well get ir trued and welded while its out. Always get new seals when rebuilding, make sure to put some grease where the crank or whatever moving part will be other wise you ruin them
  23. advanced timing will help performance, and an adjustable timing plate is a great bang for your buck mod, but the advanced timing works alot better with more mods such as porting, head, reeds etc. but the $40 is worth it.
  24. Great guy to work with, even though he was really busy he still tried to make conversation and make the phone conversation more than just taking my money
