  1. I'd love too, but I got to work that weekend... who planned the clean-up, just some random people or state or what?
  2. That guy sounds like a pric, the tracks are for public use when not being raced on... and even then everyone should have something they can participate in. Well just look on the bright side though, you didnt break or blow anything up
  3. As long as they still work fine I dont see why you'd replace them
  4. Im getting mine done right now, Im going with a custom dark burgandy color with white accents, Im getting the frame, swinger, hubs, carrier, a-arms, and heel guards blasted heat cleaned, sprayed hot, and they're pulling out some of the pushings and stuff for me, for about $450, the guy does awsome work, some friends have used him, and the turn around is about a week.
  5. If its warmer the air will be less dense you should be fine
  6. nice looking shee man... X2 works triple rates
  7. its all going to depend on your elevation
  8. What mods do you have? and I would go through the carbs and clean them real well, what pilot jets are you running also?
  9. check the rubber cross over tube between the carbs check for air leaks and check your plugs, and caps. Just start with one thing go down the list man
  10. Just get your crank true/welded, make sure your bearings are in good condition and maybe some wiseco pistons and you'll be fine 170 is pretty safe
  11. I was interested in getting a stainless steel bolt kit for my banshee, but I dont here much about them and I was wondering why that is? I know you have to use a non-zinc anti-seaze lubricant on them but is there anything wrong with the stainless bolt kits?
  12. Yeah man use a penny you should be able to atleast get the crank nut off but the clutch will probably need an impact for
  13. I think we should do this one I like this
  14. If you tear it down and do all that porting and stuff you should get your crank true and welded. Always replace stuff up the to point that you have taken it apart, like if you do the top end then replace all gaskets and seals in the top end. the dune port will be better for your drag racing but your mx port will be better for most of your riding since you do mostly trails and track, Kevin should be able to tell you what is best if you tell him what your doing. The case porting and piston cutting is just a way to match your internals a little better, and squeeze a little more power, I wouldn't really worry about it for and MX and trail bike

    WTF

But how do you get them out I tried using a rubber mallet and using force and is didn't come out? maybe try some heat?
  18. Ok guys I guess Im being a straight dumb ass from being so tired the last couple days, but why wont the a-arms come out of spindles? the stud that's connected to the ball joint will not pop out how do you take the a-arms of the spindles?
  19. Ok so the seals are going to get damaged because they're stuck in there real good... ok that's all I wanted to know thanks man
  20. OK guys Im taking my shee back apart for to get all my PC work done, I was supposed to take everything to the place tomorrow, but I was to tired to finish dis-assembly today and there's some chassis work I got to get done... So my question- I was trying to get the bearings and seals out of my axle carrier (stock carrier), and I cant seem to get the seals out. So am I just being dumb because Im so tired or is there a trick, I just tried to tap them out and pry them out, between work and school I've been pretty run down so could some one help me out and do a run down of how to get the seals and bearings out of the carrier with out damaging stuff! Thanks in advance guys
  21. I think you should post pics, but if its something you enjoy than follow it man... Its unbelievable how many companies start just by someone doing a hobby or something they like.
  22. I'd love to but still trying to get everything pieced together, dont have all the plastics or chain and a couple other things about that time Im going to get my PC work done too, everytime I start getting it put back together Im able to put some money into the banshee fund and end up doing something more to it haha, Im not really looking at riding till June probably though.
  23. Ok guys so Im in the process of putting the shee back together and forgot where all the stuff goes- 1) where do the rubber tubes on the radiator overflow bottle go, I know one of them goes to the top of the rad. but which one and where does the other go? and does it matter where this bottle is mounted? 2) the vent under the rear motor mount on top the case, it's the tranny vent im pretty sure, is there suppose to be a vent hose on there? there wasn't one when I got the shee so I just left it alone. 3) The vent hose that comes out of the clutch cover has a clip on it like it's suppose to connect somewhere, is it? Thanks guys
  24. I wouldn't think that a lean condition would cause your coolant to overflow though, there could be air getting into the coolant system somehow, but if you think it's the jetting do a plug chop and find out.
  25. Yeah they probably are to small, but the best way to find out is to put the motor together and do a comp test
