you could do the fill it in and tap and dye it or you could weld in a threaded rod like that in all the holes so it will match then just get nuts to fit... It would be different and might be easier cuz you dont have to tap and dye it

Just do a compression test once you get it put together and tell us what it is and we can help you better with octane, because that seems a little low on octane for your timing and domes, but you can make an accurate decision without know what your comp. is.

Your biggest hold back is those T-6's go with some T-5's but no you wont lose anything from the head it should give you power all over, as far as timing, any particular reason your going to 5 most people go to +4, just a question not knocking you bro but with the 18cc domes and +4 or 5 timing you might have to run a higher octane it depends on your compression when your done

I agree man, but sometimes you find someone that isn't trying to ding people and actually will lower the price to help others and sell volume. Im not planning on trying them anytime soon atleast until they are tested more and actually put through a beating for a long period of time I just wanted to know if any one knows any thing about them

So I finally got around to reading my March ATV Sport magazine, and I read that there is a new suspension company that has started up, it's 2 people from different off-road racing companies (HMF Engineering and GT Thunder) and after like 15 years of testing experience they decided to create a high performance suspension company that is affordable... It's called HLS and I guess they had to do testing on the shocks and got the front shocks into production for pretty much every sport ATV and are getting ready to start producing rear shocks for all sport ATV. In the magazine they tested them on YFZ's and it came out great, they are pretty cheap though and look like they are pretty good shocks... Anyone heard or seen what Im talking about? trying to find a number or website in the article, but cant seem to find one.

I like the carbon tech dual stage reeds from vito's they're similar to the carbon fiber 2-stage boyesen's

check the rubber cross over tube between the 2 carbs, same issues as you went around in circles with the electrical system and other problems, it wsas the rubber cross over tube for the choke

An adjustable timing plate is a way to adanve or retard your timing so the spark in the cylinder either ignites a little sooner or a little later, which will help the motor use the fuel/air mixture that enters the cylinder more effectively which= more power, this is a good mod just by itself, but if you have other mods on the engine it's and even better mod. +4 is what most people run and is the starting point, but some people fine tune theres and get like +3 or +5, some drag guys I've seen even occasionally run +7... Just stay with +4 though. As far as replaceing the stator and what not... no you dont have to replace the stator, the stator bolts on to the plate, so all you have to do is pull the fly wheel (make sure you use a banshee specific fly wheel puller and not a 3 jaw puller), un screw the 3 bolts that hold the stator, un screw the 3 that hold the plate, put the new plate on, line up the +4 with the split in your case halfs, and screw it down, screw your stator back on and replace the flywheel

X2 for the 2 into 1 being a bad idea, alot of people like them and say they help lower end... I think someone mentioned Snop doing alot of dyno work!? I remember not to long ago didnt he prove that they only give you bottom and take away your top, but the regular dual carb set-up has the same bottm and keeps some of the top end? Could be wrong but Im pretty sure that what he said

It'll do ok, but once you upgrade your suspension it will do alot better

If you ride mostly trails then you dont need the VF3's... just port your stock cages or have them ported and put some 2-stage carbon fiber reeds on them, its alot cheaper

The only reason you'll be disappointed is that exhaust get some Toomey T-5's and you'll be set, but even with those DG's Im sure you'll be plenty happy, Its nothing like your sled depending on what you ride, but you'll find especially on rougher trails you don't need 200hp to get where your going and have fun. Well have a good time riding man and keep us posted on how you like it :thumbsup:

Well you can have a set built by Tim at Steller Machine and performance with tie rods, but w/o powder for $300 so I'd say maybe like $175-$200 would be fair because the powder on them is brand new which usually costs between $35 and $50 depending on who's doing it, just helping you out man

Some PWK 33's would do well on it, see about getting the porting re-worked by a pro, smaller domes with race gas, make sure your pipes are for what type of riding your doing and some type of aftermarket reeds or ported cages and after market petals

I think he means carbon fiber petals vs. going to VF3's... Well from what I have heard VF3's are a top end power type mod and in my experience it seems correct, but porting your stock reed cages and putting on some 2-stage carbon fiber reeds or Vito's 2-stage carbon tech reeds gives you as good of a gain if not better for alot cheaper... It all depends on the porting you do, but I believe porting and the 2-stage reeds are more of a bottom end mod and the VF3's are top end so if you do mostly trail and some dune or even some trail and some dune go with ported stock cages and the 2-stage carbon fiber reeds, if you dune mostly or drag alot go with VF3's

Yeah definantly get the plate, theres a ton of online stores you can get one from... As far as ration both are good and I dont think you'll have a problem either way, some prefer 32:1 for better lubrication and somelike the 40:1. I run 32:1 on mine, but that's just because that's what I've always done

I'd say find a new builder next time, if that was true it wouldn't be one of the top 5 reccomended mods. Its actually a good bang for your buck upgrade. IDK what's done to your bike now, but true/welded crank, porting, some type of cool-head, pipes, and adjustable timing plate... from there I'd go POD filters, reed porting and after market petals or V-force 3's, and wiseco pistons, once that's all done then wider a-arms and axle and some new shocks then work your way from there, everyone's list will be a little different but that,s my opinion (not in exact order)
