  1. I switched from FMFs to T5s and noticed very little, if any power gains. One thing I did notice though is that the T5s gave up a little bottom end. Honestly, I wouldn't switch FMF Fattys to T5s.
  2. Looks right to me, you just need to slide it on there a little farther.
  3. You should go with the +3s and get 4x1 inset wheels. Meaning that when you bolt your wheels on, you will be closer to +2. Inset wheels will allow your ball joints to be closer to the center of the wheels. This will improve your handling and stability at the same time. Here is a picture of +2+1 arms with 3x2 (stock offset) wheels. Here is the picture of the rear, the axle is a GForce and it is set at +2.
  4. Great guy do deal with!
  5. No, air in the air box is a good thing! Hahah, just messin with ya, you probably meant to say gas. Did you run a wire through all of the jets? Soaking them won't assure a clean carb by any means. You need to run a wire through the pilot jets and check your mains as well. Has the weather gotten colder since it was running good?
  6. I have one in good shape, I'll sell it for $60 shipped or trade you something for it.
  7. What bore are your cylinders on now? Just rebore them again if you can, especially if they are ported.
  8. Why would you want to put solid mounts in it?
  9. Yep, I bought a new GForce from him as well and had it within a week. Good guy to deal with! Thanks again Alfie!
  10. Everything you need to know about banshee electicity! http://www.bansheehq.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=12&Itemid=28
  11. This is the guy. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showuser=26086 He hasn't been on in a while, you might try to send him a message. They were aluminum and he only charged around $30 shipped.
  12. Whatever you do, don't buy tie rods that are completley round. The stock tie rods have a flat spot in them so that you can get a wrench or pliers on them. A guy on here named Speedy was making them, cheap and they are hexagon shaped so that you could put a wrench on them to adjust them. I hate it when you need to adjust the tie rods and there is nowhere to put a wrench.
  13. I'm sure he would if you sent him a skidplate, just ask him.
  14. I'm sure he would if you sent him a skidplate, just ask him.
  15. If you do more than 50% trail riding then you won't like a cub. A dune ported 4mil will be fast and have plenty of grunt for the trails. Keep in mind that you will need to complete the package which ever motor you decide to go with. ie clutch, pipes, carbs, reeds, head, possible override, etc. etc.
  16. Carbs are a very important part to the equation so dont go cheap and buy what you need the first time. A 4mil trail bike would love 28s in my opinion. You should try the stock carbs first, you may be surprised on how well they perform.
  17. It would be nice to find and Asian midget hooker on sale. They are really hard to find this time of year.
  18. Hilarious!

  20. I currently run 450 shocks on +2+1 wicked arms. The only complaint that I have is that they are just about an inch to long. The ride feels ok, but the front end gets a little maxed out when you jump. I think if a guy wanted to make these work well, you would have to mover the lower shock mount out and down a little. I think they would work pretty good if someone wanted to cut up their lower shock mounts and weld the mounts in a little lower and outward.
  21. How much do you want for them with shipping?
  22. This guy! Here is a front view of it. I know he had some pictures of it posted on here somewhere. It was a very good looking bike. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?app=gallery&module=images&section=viewimage&img=1936
  23. I'm pretty sure socallinit (or very close to that) had some on his dune bike before he parted it and made it a drag bike. I'm sure you remember the one I'm talking about, he had silver lakers on it then he put custom painted fiberglass with clowns on it or some shit like that.
  24. I have used a set of these for three years now and love them. Well built and fit great! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AC-Racing-Nerf-Bars-Yamaha-Banshee_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem414b08c707QQitemZ280431740679QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  25. Yes and yes. There is a large allen head nut that holds the steering stem bearing in the frame. You can either get a large allen wrench or get a large bolt that will fit it and use a pair of vice grips or weld a nut to the bolt. If you do a search in the repair and mods section you can find the of bolt required. From memory I think its a 21 or 22mm allen wrench. As far as the swingarm bearings being stuck, that is a very common problem and can be a bitch to get them out. Use a good penetrating oil and let it soak around the bearings. Then get a long bolt that will fit all the way throught the swing arm, ( I use an old upper a arm bolt) and beat the bearings out. Good luck and post up pics of your before and after pics of the rebuild.
