If you don't have a port job already, then have your cylinders ported with a mx/trail port and 4mil crank. Bump up your compression and timing. Don't forget to try a -1 or -2 swinger!!

I rode a -2 all summer and loved it. I now have a -1 and like it as well, however the -2 was awesome! If you can get a good deal on a Laeger setup get it while you can. They make good quality arms and the round house style is the only way to go! As far as the chain goes, 14-41 gearing I think I cut about 4-5 links out, can't remeber. Just buy a stock length chain, then cut it to fit when you have everything on the bike.

You either need a new stock basket, in which case it will come with a gear. Or you will need a new billet basket, in which you will need to put a gear on. You grind off the rivets and pull the gear off of your stock basket and bolt it to a billet basket.

I have a good gear, but its on a shitty worn out basket. You can have it if you pay shipping.

If you want a "rideable" bike that is fast, then yes, worth every penny. If you want a drag bike, go with a cub.

Bellray Gearsaver 80wt has worked great for me for the last two years. I've tried ATF type F twice and it sucks balls in my bike. I tried 10w40 and it wasn't that great either. I'm going to try the Klotz MTL next oil change though.

Carb cleaner and a wire brush will work, but if they are real greasy, Gunk will work better and involves less effort.

The yfz 450 brakes up front are absolutely awesome compared to the banshee brakes! I run the 450 calipers, master cylinder and braided lines, the upgrade is well worth it and very noticeable.
