  1. I got #4 on lock down. I would consider myself a strong contender for a top three finish on #3. Use your knowledge to your advantage. Start a pool or a side bet on who takes what trophy. Think about it, betting against the odds that someone abuses freedom from the wife more than I do are slim to none. You never know, there could be a ringer that pays out big! Thats not even worth bringing for competition. Just being honest. Don't make it weird... Have you ever tried to fight an out of complete control naked party animal? Although I haven't ever been in that situation, I'm willing to bet it would turn out to be a greater unforseen challenge. Sure it looks good on paper, but think about it, you really want to go to the ground with cock and balls flying at an incredible rate of panic? hahah I promise not to jumpcock anyone that doesn't honestly earn one.

  3. I rolled on a drag ported 10 mil with a -1 swinger all summer a few years back. It just don't work if you want to use your motor. I does work very well in speeding up the crash though.

Shit got a little out of hand after spurdy gave me some of that shit he called peach brandy. we decided it was probably meth he pumped out of a barrel. That shit was horrible and shouldn't be allowed on this trip. Cam managed to hang in there the first night... well,, pretty much. If Dammit Bob and JD don't make it down, it simply wont be the same.   9. I've owned both and currently run Floats. I've had several sets of Elkas in various stages and they have all done very well. I don't think you could go wrong either way you choose. One thing that I would consider is long travel. After having long travel, I'll never go back. If I could afford to make my truck long travel, I would.

  15. I'd rebuild, revalve and respring your stock rear shock. Look for some good +2+1 front arms and then start hunting down some shocks. I had the cheap dual rate works steelers and they are a complete waste of money if you plan on jumping anything. Elka stage 3s are where I'd start as far as shocks go. If you can afford more, then look into the Fox Float Evols.
  16. Buy those floats before someone else does. Those are the best choice of all that were mentioned, and priced right! You can can them rebuilt for 125 if they need it and for another 100 bucks you can upgrade to the Kashima coating. I have 20.5" long travel floats on my R and they are by far the best shocks I've ever owned. I finally took the time this spring to properly set them up and they are second to none.
  17. Oh my bad, I thought you were implying something else. My mistake! I don't have a banshee anymore. I parted it out after it ate itself for the third time inside of a month and got me a new money pit with electric start!
  18. I'm fully aware of what it has, and I'm tellin ya, I've got more shit than that bike, mine is like new and theres still no way someone would pay me 10 grand for it. I have the exact same arms, shocks, better pipe, programmer, etc. Plus I have aftermarket swinger, LSR carrier, RPM axle, billet hubs all the way around including the brake and sprocket hubs, precision bar mounts, billet stabilizer, $500 dollars in GNCC holeshots etc etc. I've had all my parts powdered, streamline brake lines and the list goes on and on. I'd put my bike up against that trailer queen any day as far as looks, performance and jack off billet goodies. I know exactly what it costs to build a bike like that and none of you guys are even close!

  21. Don't overlook the holeshot GNCC's. I run them on my yfzr and they are the by far the best hooking tire I've ever ran. I run my bike on gravel roads on 10-30 mile trips, plus I trail ride them every weekend and they still look and perform like new. I've only ran them for a month so far, but I put a hell of alot of hours on my bike in a week. They are expensive, but so far I'm dead set on buying another set of them when these need replaced.
  22. I got the hookup on hipers. I bought my tech 3s, front and back for $650 shipped. You can get them cheaper with less options also. Hit me up if you want the contact info.
  23. I did the yfz swap and hated it. Do yourself a favor and save up for some +2 arms and some shocks made for the banshee. One thing you can use off of the 450 is the calipers and master cylinder. I did end up keeping those and they worked good. Other than that, don't even bother with the 450 shit.
  24. At times the flaming is worse than usual, but eventually if you stick around long enough, you will slowly but surely figure out your banshee inside and out. I'm on a few other atv forums quite a bit and I will always call the HQ home. This is by far the most banshee savy website on the web. Two things your going to need, patience and $$$$! Just be prepared to catch some shit when you post up what some people will consider stupid ass questions! Just remember that the same people giving you shit for not knowing the answer, were in fact new to banshees at some point and time and had to figure it out as well. Before you post up question, try usuing the search button up in the right hand corner of the screen. Odds are, its been asked and answered several times before. Welcome to the hq.
  25. I bought a Craftsman 3/8 torque wrench earilier this year and so far I've had good luck with it. Plus they can calibrate it in the sears store at my local shop. I'm happy with mine!
