  1. It's anywhere from 25-45 degrees and I just switched to yamalube, had some lying around.
  2. Turned screw all the may in and same issue. Not sure about compression but it is a pretty fresh motor. Also I am running single carb set-up. Next weekend I'll change out the pilot jet. I am thinking that's the issue bc my buddy with his carbed 450 is having the same issue which started at the same time. Thanks
  3. I had an issue a month back..... replaced the coil, stator and flywheel. That solved the issue and I ran it all day long no problems. Week later it won't kick start or stay at idle but I can push start it in 2nd and keep it running with the throttle. Note I didn't re-jet it for colder weather. Maybe I need to re-jet, any ideas? Thanks!
  4. Got the shee running again.... I ended up calling Sean @ RM stator and he was a huge help. We narrowed it down to the stator, even though I was getting the correct resistance readings it was still bad.
  5. What stator does everyone recommend? I know to stay away from Ricky's.
  6. Lights are wired up directly so they are always on and yes they illuminate a little when I kick it over. I am thinking it's back to the stator or the pickup. If I was to replace with a new stator which should I go with?
  7. Check all that and everything is straight.
  8. Thanks! Big Help!
  9. Yes, I still have it. That will be my next attempt this weekend.
  10. Anybody????
  11. Let me add that this stator wasn't new but one I had lying around. Also I have deleted TORS and main switch. What should the volts read when I kick it? The pickup is reading 92 ohms and I believe its suppose to be between 94-140, so it's out of this range by 2 ohms, could this make a difference?
  12. My shee was running perfect a few weeks ago when I had taken it out. I pulled the kill switch to shut it off, went for lunch came back out and nothing. First thing I did was pull a plug and no spark. Being the last thing I did was pull the kill switch, I re-wired and nothing. Check the whole wiring harness still nothing. Swapped a coil, nothing. Swapped CDI to another "working", as I was told CDI, nothing. Finally check stator and 0 ohms. Swapped to a spare stator I had, which is reading 18 ohms ignition and 92 ohms pick-up, still nothing. I am stuck with nothing else to check. I re-wired the whole harness today and still nothing. Any help would be appreciated as I am about to just give up and go pick up a 450, which I really don't want to do but I need to ride this winter with out pulling all my hair out.
  13. I am having the same issue. Ran perfect all day yesterday, grabbed lunch and hopped back on...... NOTHING, no spark. Swapped coils, still nothing. Check my kill switch and regrounded, nothing. This is my first 2 stroke bike so I am not familiar with the wiring but it looks very simple. I purchased it from a guy you only had it for a month, who he purchased from a member here. Bike ran fine for the last month, no issues. I am thinking CDI, but not for sure. Is there a way to check for this? The CDI reads "Banshee 1556", if this helps. Wiring harness connections are different from my buddies 1998, so I couldn't swap the CDI from his, if this is possible. Mexicant-- Any luck?
