  1. Hey guys. i put pipes on my bike and re jetted, ran fine for a few months. Recently i need to dump a lil fuel into the carb to get it to start. Only if it sits for a week or so. So i was told on here last time to bump my pilot jet which i did. Also re jetted for warmer air. I am back to the same problem. It will only start with a lil fuel in the carb, then will start first kick for the next 3-4 days, but if it sits any longer got to add fuel again. I am lost! i don't no where to look? Also when it does start it revs real high almost like the choke is on, till i let the clutch out then it will come down and stay idling normal. Any ideas? thanks guys!
  2. ok i went with the 27.5 pilot adn cleaned out the cabrs which were clean already. Still same problem. Also changed back to the stock needles. I put a tiny drop of gas in each carb and bam! starts first kick and then every kick after that till i let it sit for the night. Its drivn me crazy!!!
  3. so you think take them out and clean them? even if tehy were dirty you think it would still run good once started? thanks again for all the help guys
  4. yes i am usin the choke. when i first put the pipes on and jetted it, it would still start. I didnt change anything except the weather got warmer. it has the stock pilot jet in it. Would that have something to do with it starting?
  5. tried switching the fuel bowls still no luck.
  6. where is north nj? i am in hackettstown area. I deal with rrp.
  7. yes the choke tube is in place. i will check my fuel system. But once its starts its good to go till it sits again? I head that i may have put the wrong fuel bowl back on the worng carb and this could cause it?
  8. Hey guys i got my shee bone stock about a year ago. rode it for a bit and decided it was time to make it faster, so last fall i did procircuts, took the air lid off and re jetted. Now it wont start. But if i dump a lil fuel in the carbs it fires right up first kick!? Once its warmed up it will kick right away. What could my issue be? I went to 290 mains and air screw 2 turns out, also i had to change the needle in the carbs due to bending one. I got some aftermarket ones that are longer then stock. Could that be the problem?
  9. Hey guys i have been searching the net and not really sure what to call them? I lost one of my gold..... things that screw into the carb to stop the cap from unthreading itself. Any idea where i can get a new one or what they are called? thanks a lot!

  14. Hey guys, I do construction... well used to haha but lack of work is making me sell some stuff to pay bills. I am thinking of putting my stock front end back on if i can get enough out of the 450 front end. So..... 450 a arms, upers are in great shape! lowers are a lil dented and could use paint.but straight and solid. 450 spindles, hubs. They are already cut and been on my shee. + 2 red tie rods.. brand new. Comes with 08 LTR shocks. They ride great! 10 times better then stock. I will throw in the longer bolts for the brakes calipers as well. I guess i would ask 350 obo. plus shipping. I will get some pictures up but here are a few.
