  1. After a complete frame powdercoat teardown, New top end, yfz conversion and suzuki LTR shocks. This sucka is finally done. Took her out to Glamis to putt around camp to seat the rings. Didn't get hard on it yet. Just glad it's done. Now back to finding something else to fix, build, spend money on!!! I must have gotten out of 15 head scratchers from everyones help here on HQ. Thanks all!!
  2. Last time I rode there after rains was way busy and had tracks left everywhere. I was on my 2 wheeler and it would catch me in a groove sometimes. Ddin't care for it much. I actually just bought this broke down banshee and rebuilt it from frame up. so this will be my first ride on it. Sounds like not too busy out there latley. and with less tracks. Thanks for the tip
  3. anyone been to glamis after these rains we had? wondering if the sand is crap to ride in?
  4. Stock carb. I did install a new body for the float needle. I actually pulled the out and check the o ring as well. Choke tube always gets put back on for the 30th time I've taken these things off and on. I kow its the float adjustment. I have bent the tab up gradually and bent the tab down gradually and still the same. Put frsh plugs in today and still no start. I just amd not getting how to set the float correcty even though it sounds so simple. I am almost thinking its somehting else at this point. Could the mnay times I flooded the carb have fille dthe cylinders with gas? the old plugs had a pretty heavy gas smell. you can smell the gas just standing nex tot the bike yet its not leaking anyhwere. The carbs are exactly what they were went it fired right up except new needle floats and bodies. Oh and I also put in new fuel air screws with springs. they are turned 1.5 out. Well being pretty mechanical and not getting this for three days is pissing me off. Anyway thanks for the help bro and listenin to me whine
  5. OK I been messin with my carbs all damn day and cannot get this thing right. Just a little history. The thing fires right up but was leaking from the float bowls. So I replaced the needle valve assemblies. Now it seems like as soon as I turn the fuel cock on, the carbs fill up with way too much gas. I bent the tabs on the floats down to try and seat the old worn needles. Obvioulsy didn't work. Now that I have new nedle valve assemblies. Is this float tab adjustmnent causing all the gas flooding? Can't figure out why so much gas flooding it. Bike will not start.
  6. Id love to some time...but thats like 13 hrs away....lol

  7. Just changed from 25/260 to 30/290. the clip was in 4th notch previous to new jets. Should I leave it in 4th notch or take it to the third notch. If I understand correctly. My larger hets with it at the 4th notch would make it run way richer. Thanks FYI:FMF fatty w/ turnibe2 exhaust with K&n pods
  8. Ride on! Gotta ride where you can. I role out with some cool groups with a 32' RV w /plenty of room if you and a friend ever want to roll out to glamis

  12. Anyone know where to get the 35 watt bulbs to replce the 55 watters in the wally mart lights? They don't have them at pep boys. ?????
  13. Thanks for the help bro. Yeah I git the measuring and lining up thing down. I was just wondering if I need to toe in or out or even. I will do 1/4" toe in. Appreciate it
  14. Tried searching for a post regarding basic alignment info but can't seem to find my answer. I just put a yfz conversion on my shee. I have the wheels set straight currently. Not sure what the terms toe in/toe out mean. My guess is that the front of the wheels set inward or outward from each other. That is my question, Do I set the front wheels a bit inward facing each other or outward facing away from each other?
