  1. So I'm missing something then why would mess with it if it was running fine there is not much going on in a banshee,compression ,spark,fuel,if the bike ran good b4 now it doesn't and jetting didn't change something else is wrong
  2. A gurgling sound in your rad is no good ,either its a bad rad cap,head gasket(o-ring),overheating the death out of it
  3. I used needles they came with on all set ups I believe dgh the c series needle doesn't work well on my motors in those carbs
  4. Stock needle all the way rich make sure carbs are synced,260,270 at that elev with 27.5 pilot,make sure plug caps are ohmed out properly but no matter how you slice it comp is low
  5. Leak down b4 you blow again,did you say head gasket,I thought you had cool head?if you use both stock head gasket and cool head it will wear grooves in the deck of the cylinders making any sealing after that a problem
  6. I'm going with 5th,6th gear pinion in the tyranny worn out ,it gave you a noise while hot tell tale sign,the idler gear would shred in many cases but is worth a look b4 tearing into it,good luck

  8. my drag motors like 50 pilot,162-168 main jet.dgh 4th clip.Def do a proper chop for whatever distance you run
  9. do it !!! i never had any issues with it flaking when porting,and your a smart guy you shouild have no issues
  10. Golden rule #1 leak down before tear down otherwise your guessing at maybe's
  11. I have had a flywheel give me an issue that your describing although they are often good when still giving a rattle,I drove myself crazy a few years ago on a customers bike ,passed leak down,passed electrical,mechanical tests ended up being a bad flywheel
  12. i have ran snomo-carbide studded tires on my 4mil 72 roll out ,leave the plus 10 i ran a plus 6 it was extremely violent and my bar bent.I have also ran cheng shengs with ice screws in them both works just make sure you start out with a lite tire turf tamers are good also
  13. i have seen shearer silencers cut about two inches,the guys told me me for dragging they rev longer and have better peak power on the dyno,how true i dont know but there bikes were nice lookin.i still beat the shit out of them with my lil 4mil on pavement.
  14. both are gonna be pretty damn close to each other,cubs by me usually 48 or 50 pilot depending on temp changes 165 main cel 4th clip ,dgk will work with maybe a small drop in main size one two sizes,the stock cylinders depend on porting i have run up to a 172-175 on a few diffrent motors i have built and they loved big pilots .your close and you sound like you got it,if your running to the track or you got somewhere to run let me know i have been dying to run soon and dust off the shee

  16. with lid on 240s with lid off 280s whoever told you to adjust jetting with the air box lid is an idiot!!
  17. i dont know anything about those carbs my only advise is chop it with what its got and adjust from there ,there is alot of advice on here to show you what a proper burn is an alky plug

  19. same pin height diffrent crown,i really like these pistons,i have them in multiple members bikes
  20. i have been porting for years now an everytime i touch a cylinder i get better and it takes less time,my advise to you is do both cylinders ex at same time an so on dont try an finish one than match it,sometimes less is more in areas with casting restraints.staggered transf design is proven and allows fuel to enter in an orderly fashion,open your mind to diffrent pistins than wisecos with better layout for ported motors
  21. The insides look dirty as hell,and you might need to deck that cub a lil ,the deck looks nasty .Does it seal ok?
  22. there is also a tin washer on the back of the idler gear
  23. unplug the tors box for sure but if it lets you get into 6th and upper rpms then starts acting up could be ignition coil or plug caps,must ohm them out a very common problem
  24. Tyler your rite 100%,i wont do half ass shit,go big or go home.You go broke tryin to save money!.Snipers are a step from shearers even if they make close to the same on the dyno the fit amazing ,dont hit anywhere ,silencers are great (tuned length).You get what you pay for
