  1. Air filter is clean. And water pump gear is ok, I opened up the cover and checked it. As for the jets, its stock. I didn't change anything since I bought it. Just kept it maintained.
  2. My banshee has been driving me crazy for a while now. Its been overheating after running for about 30 minutes in the sand. The coolant gets very hot and starts going out the overflow valve on top of the radiator and drips down on the exhaust through the connected hose. To try and solve the issue I did the following: 1- installed new head gasket (installed properly with 20 lb.ft of torque) 2- installed new radiator cap 3- installed new water pump propeller (stock) 4- flushed cooling system and used new coolant 5- changed gear oil 6- tried different fuel mixes All the above did not change anything. Banshee still overheats and coolant starts shooting out the overflow valve. Other than the overheat, the banshee works perfectly and starts from first kick. My banshee is a 2004 100% stock, no modifications what so ever. Its very well maintained. I need some professional help guys!
  3. When I first got I used to start from first kick. After taking it to the dunes a couple of times it got worse and worse. So I decided to clean the carbs, and now it doesn't run at all. Do I start by adjusting the air and keep the fuel constant? Or is it the other way around? Or is there no specific way of doing this, just trial and error!
  4. I got it used, its a 2004 all stock with K&N air filter.
  5. This might be a stupid question, but i did alot of reading about carb adjustment since i removed them and cleaned them. I have a general idea about what to do, but i cant get the stupid banshee to start in order to do any adjustments! Is there a setup i can start with and then take it from there?
  6. oops, that was for the stuck floats. As for the water pump, already checked and its running properly. I just removed the cover and rotated the engine with the kick start. Seems ok
  7. Ok problem solved. It took more than tapping with a screw driver. I lifted the banshee up and dropped it, that fix the leaking issue. But banshee not starting still
  8. I use stock carbs with TORS boxes, I didn't realy do anything with the carbs just some cleaning with a caburator cleaner!
  9. So i took off my carbs and did some cleaning. once i put everything back together, I wanted to start the banshee. But once I opened the fuel valve under the tank, the right carb overflow hose had a stream of fuel coming out of it! the banshee does not start and the only way to stop the fuel from flowing is to turn off the valve. Any ideas?

  11. Last time i took my banshee to the dunes i heard some gurgling noise from the radiator. I suspect that something is wrong with the water pump. Is there a way to test if the water pump is working properly without having to drain the oil and coolant and open up the side cover ?
  12. Thanks for the prompt reply. I checked the hose again, (2) and (3) are just like you said they are, so i guess that end is supposed to be going to the vent under the motor bolt. But does that mean it is not important to connect? Since it is only a vent. And will keeping it disconnected cause my reservoir to become empty, or is that from something else?
  13. Guys I need your help on this one. I bought a 2004 used banshee last month. I tested it on the sand dunes and the coolant reservoir had to be refilled twice every hour. I removed the air intake box and the gas tank to see if there are any loose hoses and I found a hose dangling besides the rear shock. I traced it back to a "T" right between the carbs and continues to the radiator. My question is, is it supposed to be going somewhere or is it just an overflow? I doubt it is just an overflow hose because I noticed a clip at the end which means it should be hooked somewhere, but where?
