  1. thats damn good bro you can go up one size to be safe but as long as you chopped a brand new plug 6th gear wide open then killed it holding throttle open your good
  2. If you have the lid on no snorkel you shouldnt need any bigger than a 260 main 25 pilot needles all the way rich air screw 1-turn out in winter,in summer 240s on the main and lean the air fuel screw
  3. nice run 50/50 race gas premium mix,I would check condition of top end,with 19cc domes and a 4mil comp should be higher or someone lied and its a healthy ported stock stroke bike
  4. my purge tank is an old overflow bottle,if your riding in temps around 40deg dont bother converting,also alky is the best for power increase i love it
  5. leave the dek start at a 175 main,52 pilot needle 4th clip,that needle is a richer needle than cel might be just what you need 4 that mnotor

I use slowers info on clutch tuning and it has help me come a long way ,i use a sno-mo spring tension guage to measure primary spring tension,and my gram scale to measure finger weight.Its all about being consistant ,the biggest variable in racing is the rider so anything to help that variable is needed like launch limiter,shift lite/tach.To make adjustments to the clutch for a certain track all other variables must be constant,i adjust the clutch on my shee just like a drag bike(street bike).Each motor will be diffrent i now have diffrent set ups ready for diffrent track in seperate bags,the biggest time improvements came to me with clutch tuning
  7. tubes should be drilled to at least .120 -.130,with a powerjet also

I have had issues to with wcr also but on the other side i have 10 or better wcr dunables in bikes for over 3yrs with no problems,i have had to massage a few drums and gears and change spring pressures on a few , but i was discusted with him for a lil,i went to robinson now and wont go anywhere else his shop is close by me and he knows some guys i know from street bike draggin and his work is top notch just take out your wallet

  11. why wouldnt get the whole set-up from one guy so there is no question,22-23cc domes depending on porting,+4 timing is the max on pump fuel but is sometimes too much depending on variables so i have run as lil as +2,squish i like at .050,order diffrent base gaskets to adjust squish
  12. im building one rite now but the next one is getting stretched a lil plus it will be jigged like your sayin,rite now i have a never ending drag frame build 112in wheelbase but the chassis table would help big time on a build like a yfz
  13. have not been on in a while but have had some issues with tz bearing in the past.I have put at least 30 of these style bearings on motors with no fail.I think i cought something in the building process,I have had 6 or 7 instances where the locator clip around the cage was putting alot of pressure on the bearing,did it go in and tighten down yeh but i wasnt happy with it so i took two stock half moon clips and swapprd it out ,no pressure on cage no issues,all banshee cases are diffrent which is what i figured the issue is
  14. everybodies porting is diffrent but a drag port with t-5s on sstock carbs should bee in the 30 pilot area and 400 main area my last on ran 420 mains 32.5 pilots needle 4th clip
  15. Everyone doing a build like this knows its countless hours of planning fabricating and welding,the biggest drawback i see so far is the rear shock location,and the shortness of the nose of this bike,i thought about lengthning the nose 2inches .Has anyone strecthed the front at all?

  17. I run outta frames on 4mil fast cyl,he preferrs it for torque value and i felt a huge diffrence,i ran 11.5 at 108 in the 1/4 last weekend ,and i will get it in the 10s on stock cyl i have to work out some chassis tuning issues to get my 60fts down
  18. matt made me custom rear halfs to fit airbox on two sets but without those rears good luck,300 mains on stock port,27.5 pilot
  19. i have very similar set up,122.5 dumps 52 pilots eej needle 4th clip,short distance the bike likes 3turns out on the pj,in the 1/4 it like 6 turns
  20. hit it on head cam i have built a few up[on request,no true proof but they felt like they revved very quickly,these were all 300ft bikes
  21. As stated im going to atco tommorow sunday the 4th to run my bike and tune a few of my boys machines,all are welcome should be pretty good day,look 4 my black bike,and a 2500 series ram turbo deisel with a $3 trailer on the back

Thanks for the kind words ,Yes there are great sponsors on here no doubt i deal with FAST a great deal on all my projects and he has schooled me on alot of shit.The fact is there is no one banshee specific anywhere near me and most people in my area dont want to wait,i have also been screwed and ignored by many.I help people out all the time off this site for peanuts because its my passion,Ill see you at wildwood ,might be a few of my crews machines down there for the fri night drags if they dont pussy out
