  1. Pistons are only as good as the guy that clearances the cylinders ,I love the wsm forged race pistons,if your looking to squeeze every little bit of power and rev out of your machine they are a good choice,or buy wise is then have them lightened and windowed
  2. Needle second from top is lean side and not giving enough fuel to motor on slide drop until pilot jet comes back in.
  3. A jjh has the taper you might need, now food for thought.i built a an aggressive ported 4 mil for Nasty racing that came in at 168 main,50 pilot ,Jjh needle 4th clip,a rail ported 350 I'm working on rite now came in at 155 main 52 pilot n68a needle in the middle.you might be experiencing to much pull across the emulsification tube making jetting a lil more difficult
  4. I'm looking into taking the ride this year we will see what happens,I have to put a trail machine together
  5. I was 16 the last time I heard those talked about I'm 35 now
  6. I have done a few different set- ups even ran the wires in the frame.the one I like the most is hidden behind radiator just under the tank,JDS also has a nice piece and works well
  7. Just specify before you order two guys by me had issues and got wang cranks
  8. Fuck the weather pack connectors use Red wirenuts
  9. Electrical,t.o.r.s issue ,or you swapped carb bowls they are side specific and will screw you up.parking break switch.these stator s are pretty tuff very rarely are they the issue it always are issues resembling stator good luck let me know
  10. My 4 mil chopped perfect at 182 main,52 pilot, dgh needle 4 th clip for 1/4 mile pull,in 300 ft runs I was able to drop it down a lil on the main 39 pwks drag ported cyl ,+7 on the timing
  11. 155 main 48 pilot needle 4th clip,
  12. Tuning is why my lil 4 mil wipes the floor with bigger motors
  13. I have used and put in few trans that I know redline and cam would be interested in,they were full 6 speed auto they had no spring anywhere to hold forks, billet sliders were manufactured for the shaft and time area was taken off the pads to ease shifting but there was no back cut on gears so it doesn't chew forks,I started to fuck with different ideas but as you guys know time is at a premium and my Bridgeport mill, lathe, two tig machines went down in flood. So pretty much I got fucked sandy and now have no time or equipment
  14. Or call redline lol
  15. I still have three of these extreme dunables going strong in my area, but I had to rework the drum and adjust spring pressures so they didn't chew shit up,they were a good concept poor execution .you want bullet proof call Robinson transmission but your gonna pay its not like wcr pricing. He very rarely answers the phone and call backs are after business hours.you also can't just drop shit off he deals by appointment only
  16. Your not that far off I have seen 45-50 pilots,145-155 main n68A needle 4th clip, might be carb sync cable adjustment
  17. It's not horrible but not great either, they need a finishing touch and shaping on the exhaust,I have seen so called performance shops putting out crap that looks similar .the real test is how they run I have seen shit that looked like a beaver on crack did it run hard as shit and I have seen clean work run like crap
  18. I have seen it before on aftermarket swingers,if your axle is tight and all bushings/bearings are good then it's carrier placement.,I have put on 50+ swingers at this point but have seen it,I made people aware of it only one of them returned there shit I haven't got any call backs on it from the others and they beat the snot out of there stuff, something to look into.just to let you know your not the only one
  19. Fattest will like a 30 pilot at sea level ny is def different humidity,I would start at the 280 and if it hesitated mid range run the stock needles all the way rich ,I have plug chopped multiple bikes most came in 280 but a few required 290 and differ nt needles, good luck
  20. Get them raw from Matt and wend em out
  21. Big fan of marine-trek,but normally I use granite with multiple grits of sand paper starting heavy and finishing up at 600 do figure 8s till mark is gone, check swish, adjust base gasket if needed,I have done it multiple times with no problems this way
  22. I have pressed them in b4 but when I didn't have a press I put a relief cut with my porting tool a lil heat and tapped it ,put the new one in with heat and vise,I also froze the bushings for 24 hrs
  23. New York sea level,30 pilot, 280 mains, stock needles all the way rich, snappy as shit on the throttle
  24. What kind of pipes do you run and carbs
  25. Does the choke work if not carb bowls are swapped ,zilla is rite compression is low might wanna get another test done and address the issue and watch who you have do the test not everyone does them correct
