Hey everyone! I had my banshee for a a very short time and yet already having some weird problems. The banshee idles perfectly. But when i go for a ride.. it seems like something is going really wrong. It feels like an electrical problem.. when im in 5 or 6 gear the engine start acting weird like the gas is not going in the carbs anymore. Im not sure how to explain it exactly (im fench) it feels like the engine cut and come back really fast and non stop untill i stop giving it gas. The guy that sold me the banshee told me he cutted some wire between the two carbs .. im not sure what he was talking about exactly and what that wire was there for. the banshee is a 2002. i dont know if any of you guys will understand what im trying to explain! But thanks to anyone who will try to help me! Cant really ride the banshee like that

like i said try a 280 main jet , remove the airbox lid if its not already done let me know if that worked !

to add CCs you would need to put a bigger sleeve in the head of the engine , the guy was totally wrong when he told you its a 280cc i am more then sure its a stock sleeve bored to .080 you know why ? because you would need a huge jet if it would be a 280cc i have a 240cc and im runing a 370main jet , you would have blow your engine in your first ride. like i said , put a 280 main jet and the thing will runs good again but dont forget to check your plug and do some little test to be sure its the right size!

280cc... the engine cant be bigger then 240cc , and if it would be bigger your jet would be way too small . i have a 240 big bore kit and im runing a 370 main jet. your engine is probably stock bored at .080 that means your jet is too big and thats why your engine bugs like that , if you check your sparkplug youll see that it is way too black , go get a 280 main jet and put it in your carb and check the plus , if its black you need a smaller het if its white you need a bigger jet , the sparkplug need to be a nice golden brown

the stock blaster main jet size is 230 , with a pipe you should be more around 280. please check your jet size and come back to me

i see you have a pipe , what jet size do you have in there and also have you removed the airbox lid ? you need more airflow when you put a pipe on your quad. if you need more help with the blaster come over www.projectblaster.com and ill do my best to help you

Project Blaster And Diamond Racing have been working together for ever. PB always supported Diamond Racing and Diamond Racing always supported PB. And actually , PB and Diamond Racing are affiliated on all the Big Bore kits and fire breather and what not. I myself have a Diamond Racing motor and diamond racing A-arms and i couldnt be happier with other brands. Any member of the PB staff would never say anything bad about diamond racing and we would never start shit with you guys because we actually love your site , me and bubba are both reading and looking at the pics in here everyday. So if you see anything wrong going on between BansheeHQ and PB please let us know and we will try to find whos the moron trying to start shit again! Once again we are sorry that some (stupid people that shouldnt have the right to use the internet) came here to start shit , we are still trying to Ban them for good but its such a pain in the ass when they can use proxy but we will try what you said and hope it will work for good.
