  1. 535 in a KTM450 sounds bitchin'! Any light weight hybrid with a modern 4 stroke chassis and banshee engine that has been fabricated by someone competent and tuned right will be an absolute beast. Especially with a 535! Any build photos of the setup you are running?
  2. Iono is not a fucking word!
  3. WD-40 and ultra fine steel wool can make chrome look bitchin!
  4. Magic's rebuilt it? As in Waterford michigan? Please make sure they set up the jetting right, do a leak down, compression test, and a squish test. To make more power on it, get it ported and a set o domes to work with the stroker/porting/fuel. Maybe better carbs and pipes.
  5. ^that. Saw it on an old KX 125
  6. It's drag racing! If you wanna push a particular combo, this case it's stock cylinders, you gotta be willing to push the limits. Even if it means toasted parts and motors. Rob isn't the most people friendly or business savvy, but he really knows what it takes to run with the best. CONGRATS PPS!
  7. Wasn't that lever that snapped on little Stevens bike an RIS piece?
  8. Foaming glass cleaner(preferably no ammonia in it). It does a bitching job for a fast detail on a moderately clean bike. Then you can really bling it up with other high end detailers if you want show quality.
  9. Loco, what even made you take it apart? That thing was bitchin!
  10. Yeah Shawn, the banshee frame tends to really work nice when you get the bottom frame rails level with the ground and have the swinger between 11-15 degrees. Also banshees have tons of flex and twist on the swinger. So eliminating that with one of the beefier swingers and a pivot bolt set up with twin bearings on each side makes a world of difference.
  11. Proven, on the ice none the less...... The 450 calipers idealy should be a little farther down on the rotor but the pad contact area is still greater then stock banshee stuff. They allow a more progressive feel as well. compare that to the banshee calipers that are either useless or fully locked up. The big item most forget is the master cylinder off the 450. It gives you even more control and faster stopping with out the locked up front tires. Carry on...
  12. I just got a piece with the new black carbon done and it is killer stuff. JD gets the pattern on with zero flaw so it really does have a realistic effect. You almost can't tell it's dipped and not real until you actually touch it. Hot stuff JD! Thanks for the fast shipment and quality work. I will get a pix posted once I get the quad over to my new place
  13. Andy is a stellar guy! Gonna have him do pipes on my hybrid build. His stuff runs awesome and he is a sponsor here so maybe you could call him.
  14. There is a major problem with those shocks once you have a little motor work done though. They don't allow the bike to transfer the weight to the rear tires, so coming out of the turn the bike will tend to just blow the tires off under throttle. I found a way to use some works triple weights or 450 shocks to get a lower height and still have travel pretty well on my +2 front end and it just grips really good for a budget set up.
  15. Pot meet kettle.....
  16. Umm..... Ok
  17. So you have a dyna CDI as well? That could be one of the problems in itself
  18. Good deal for a sweet mod.
  19. Could be reeds...... But if the plugs are wet and you know it's definitely a firing issue I'd say start with homing everything to spec per a clymer manual. Then if you still can't tell I'd start with switching one known working part at a time if possible. If not start with new plugs gapped properly and tops tightened, set the pick up gap, clean the carbs thoroughly, sync the carbs, engine/chassis ground, spark plug boots, maybe plug wires, coil, stator then cdi last.
  20. The bottom end walk through thread
  21. Ill take it for $35 if you tell me how th get the carbon fiber film off it so I can polish it.
  22. You have an updated white carbon similar to this?
  23. Just order a dump tube from Sudco or pj Motorsports. More site sponsors could have them as well
  24. No way it's an actual laegers frame. Swinger yes, but not the frame
  25. If you can handle a simple case mod then I would say go for it. It's definitely doable. God speed, and report back with results.
