  1. i got to say i researched this tires for about a week and heard they where about a 7 out of 10, guess i should have done more research, guess im going to have to run them and see for myself
  2. I didn't handle the inflation but this is really helpful, I did think it was weird that they couldn't seat it all the way, thanks for the advise about brake cleaner I've done it with either on truck tires but was a little leery about a 2 ply tire, lol first time I did it to a truck tire I didn't use blocks under the rubber and used way to much either...long short short when I touched the puppy off the tire hit the roof of the garage lol and as far as using the forum in learning sorry guys not so great at navigating with a computer, but thanks for the tips we'll try more lube and air pressure first.
  3. Hey just got a pair of kenda gecko plus "21x11-10" and brought them in to be mounted on some DWT's "10x10" anyway brought them to Yamaha to mount them and the cant seat the bead??? They hold air but some of the rim lip is poking out, which is not good does anyone have any advice or tips? Maybe a tube would seat it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Yeah it was none of those things, I had a weak cdi box it know runs like a champ again!! Thank though guys
  5. hey guys i have resently upped my jets and am having issues with the bike not starting ive checked all the normal stuff, cleaned the carbs, checked floats and hieght, cleaned filter, checked for spark and comprestion, checked for fuel flow, and nothing has changed. my original setup was 270 mains with 30 pilots and stock fuel mix screws postion at sea level at 60-85 degrees. i stepped up to 300 mains for winter as a starter so i could do the normal running check "run full open and pull clutch in and shut bike down and coast to a stop and check the plugs" but the bike wont start so i can even start the jetting prossess. ad help would be good thanks guys
  6. I appreciate the banter guys I think I'm just going to cut the gnccs and see how it goes lol its a good accuse to buy better tires these work good I'm just not impressed with there bite
  7. Brembo convertions getting there lol its a got of lot of projects and little time issue lol it will work though
  8. hey guys i just picked up a set of diamond j customs tire to ski convertion brackets and some pro steer skis. now i need traction for the back. i dont have the money for tracks, chains are good for ice but not snow, and self tapping ice screws are a option but i id like something more permant. this is my idea. i have a brand new pair of GNCC's "20 x 10-9" they have 24 rows, 12 with 4 lugs and 12 with 3 lugs, my plan with these are to cut the 3 lug rows out and wire wheel the surface down flat. kinda like the hill climber guys do but the put a row of 5 " 6 if i can fit it " snowmobile ice studs in so id have the best of both worlds in theory, 4 lug row would act as a paddle which would be good in snow and the ice stud row would give good tration on ice and also act as support where that row of lugs would have been . just looking for some good or bad idea responces,or if any one has done this some tips. thanks guys
  9. What about a rmstator? And what's the deal with rocks stator? They just crap or something?
  10. So would a 100 watt be enough to run some 55 watt lights?
  11. Hey guys just wondering about what i would have to do to run 55 watt head lights, Bigger stator? What size output? DC convertion? Any advise would be helpful! Thanks guys
  12. I don't know honestly some where in between the two to see if I really enjoy " I'm sure I'll love it" but competition is where I'm probably going to be leaning towards
