  1. Mine sucks gas bad enough with stock carbs, it can't get much worse with a single.
  2. The T5's wil be better, but the cpi's will give you even more power.
  3. If it were me I would et a new one, 2 just in case it happens again.
  4. Finally got to see a 700 run yesterday, it does not look fast but it has great traction and does not wheelie bad like the 660. Pulled up beside him in 3rd and left him, but from a dead stop the 700 holeshot is awesome. This thing was bone stock still on it's first tank of gas.
  5. If you do a good bit of travel and stay in motels try and pick up a good deal on an enclosed trailer. That way people wont know if it has quads in it or it is empty.
  6. Very nice chart, maybe it should be pinned.
  7. Porting works great but even better with larger carbs. It will cost anywhere from 250-500 for a good port job.
  8. Nice looking shee man.
  9. Could be an air leak, but with more compression sometimes requires more fuel.
  10. If noise is not an issue, get the T5's. If there is noise laws where you ride get pc's.
  11. I've been running a vito's key for over 4 years and have not had a problem, if you go over 50 horses I would not advise it though.
  12. Have him get his head milled to start with, a cheap mod and makes a good bit of difference.
  13. I think vito's has them also.
  14. I agree with the added bonus that no one will want to drive your bike, I never drove with a twist until I installed mine and I would not go back. I have never had an accident because of it, but it is not made for everyone.
  15. Your pilots is the biggest problem taking off, buy several main jets. You could run anything from those 280's to a 340.
  16. A 15 does great on open roads and topend riding, you wont have to shift as much and will gain some mph.
  17. I run amsoil and am very pleased with it at 40:1 ratio. Some run more oil and some lees but you can't go wrong with 40:1. I also run bel ray mc1 for a long time and it did well.
  18. I've always been told the 416 is more reliable and not much slower. First few gears it is going to hang, but it will never have the topend of the shee.
  19. The camaro is nice, but I heard the project was shot down, something to do with unions and the plant it has to be built in.
  20. I would take the carb off and clean the pilot jet, and use some better oil to make that engine last.
  21. I used a hacksaw and finished up with sandpaper, and used a pencil to draw out my lines.
  22. Nice trade, I have always wanted to ride one.
  23. You can just pull the hose off going to the water pump.
  24. Thanks for the reply, I'm going to send off my flywheel to be lightened soon and was wondering if it would be worth it to have the carbs done at the same time.
  25. The shee is not a trail bike stock but put a set of fatties on it and gear it right and it will impress you. I do trail riding with mine and I have T5's and they are more of a topend pipe.
