  1. the guy that you got yorus from rode with the dude i bought mine from.. they were definately trailer queen's. which is a good thing in my eyes!! i know neither of them were ever raced or flipped or wrecked.! at least you got it all figured out! i'd like to send these shocks in for a rebuild, revalve but its just not al that high on the priority list.. these chassis's are amazing in design. i'd love to see LSR build one but use the YFZ plastic, and tank, bars, seat ergo/ combination.
  2. drop the spring preload in the works i do it often you can sag them out quite a bit.
  3. tune the alky to sound just like gas motor. set the needle a tad rich to rich and it can fool you tuning wise if you stare at the plugs too much. learn to listen to the motor when your tuning it. that alone will make you a much better tuner. i'd leave the gearing alone and play with it iF you need to. 4-4's 4-3's shouldnt be hard at all. 36/38's are not anywhere close to being to big motor like that should handle 38'/40 or 40/40's with ease.

  5. which is totally retarded.. i had a guy bring me a case half last summer. most of it was torn apart and the clutch basket was still ont he shafts. they had beat on the cases till that clip snaped in half... WOW
  6. i'd like to try my hands at a PV trex resetting it up to use dome pistons that are more redially available is th eway to go. i have raced a FEW that were retarded fast. i think with the right know how and really nicely set up as far as the PV's go it is a nice cylinder.

  8. if you spray paint your pipes black that helps out a lot too. just make sure they are mounted on the bike when you do it the more overspray the more areodynamic it can get

  10. if i had it i'd put it on ebay yes they even suck for turbo's/ shear has proven that with his 2-1 turbo pipe/ setup id rather run OEM gutted pipes then one of those the ONLY thing cool about them is the sound they make and thats it yes thats my honest first hand experience with them in the past. bla bla bla.. nice pipe tho!

QUOTE" thanks ass... you want to see the stack of missmatched cases i have and also the trashed transmissions and crank that came out of them from improper alignment?? this motor needs built by a profesional. thats all there is to it. the pipes available arent going to be correct for such a high rev narrow band that this will produce also the port layout might just as well be black majic its going to need degree'd as its mocked up to even see if th enumbers fall into where they need to be also its going to possibly take a custom set of domes to work well with the setup.. good luck and great job putting all that stuff on a blaster forum.. the man with one eye in the land of the blind is king..
  12. if you cannot dune a duneable why is it called a duneable. should it be called a might not break as bad trans?? what a joke.. properly done stock modified is an excellent transmission. that being said i have dune rode std overrides in the past with out issues. BUT it wasnt as much fun as a "rider bike" with std trans. never had to think about what i was doing or what gear i was in or what to do if i killed the bike or fell off of it in 4th gear and it died and backloaded all the way down a hill....
  13. 927 is not recomended at all for colder weather. it can seperate in the tank as you ride.. plus in a gas motor i really dont like that oil anyways its so dam gooey and shit.. carbons up the exhaust and pistons like crazy. ON gas motors 32-1 work great

  16. the longer lever can actually hit the back of your fingers as you hold the bars. i dont like mine and i may remove it and switch to a differnt style or redesign it so it dosent hit my hand.. stock carbs work fine. the pipes suck bawls. get some t-6 or fmf sst's or PC's and then spend ever dolla you can on suspension upgrades. then learn to ride. i would put money on a well tuned BONE STOCK banshee with excellent suspension and a good rider whould whip most of the mx racers i have seen in the days back/
  17. thanks for posting those pics.. sorry it was kinda dirty in them.. it has a 421 stock cylinder motor in it its actually the sister bike to the one with the injection. i bought this one from the "buddy" that rode with the other guy in wichita. i think the time i have had it i have rode it more then they ever did these bikes were trailer/ dyno queens. after i bought it i blew the basket to hell ( stupid design) and redid the entire motor more to what i like. then put it on alcohol after a year or so i think the alky is a lil to much HP in the trails. so i'm going back to pump gas for now. i'd sell mine.. but its not going to be no 2500 bucks//

  21. welcome to banshee HQ.. nology and DYNA both have well proven products for the banshee. they have a nice support system for the products AND i'm sure there are a few BMW payments made straight from the pockets of banshee owners... if you have a lil time why not take a few minutes of your precious day and look at this site or even this particular atv as a whole. its HUGE the aftermarket support is HUGE. how many other OR even ANY other atv dirt bike has the kind of suport or diehard backing like these? thanks and i'm not going to buy these anytime soon or ever.. the mounts look like back yard CNC trash made in china. top of the line yea right.
  22. wow. NOS on a car and NOS on a 2 smoke are a lil different.. IF i was going to run a set up i know exactilly how i'd do it. wet system. shoot it through the transfers bla bla bla.. it was a ton of fun on a rappy 700 those lil "kits" blow through the carb are a fuggin joke.
