  2. camatv

    CPI stingers

    it was abducted by aliens!!
  3. welll throw up some pics of them!!
  4. if the jetting thats in it now seems right why trust going that far lean just cause of what you read on a forum?.. jet the motor, carb, atvsetup to what the motor tells you it wants and leave it alone..
  5. i can write for dirt wheels.. the ( add name of part here) was great. the added ( add effect here) really helped a lot. our test riders loved the way the ( add machine or part or clothing item here) worked and are looking forward to buying one for themselves.. each article in the mag.. i page through them every once in a while at the grocery store..
  6. i'd go out on a limb and say a properly setup pv cheeta even a stock stroke 65mm would be much easier to use and make power than the rz junk.. yes i dealt with one of these it was a neat motor but after fighting electrical issues with it all the time it wasnt worth it plus all the extra do do to make it all work sucked.. NOW maybe using a litium battery, and a proper programer/ cdi for the electrics would change my mind on one.. BUT after dealing with other designs using pv's i think i would rather waste my time on a two stroke shop pv setup in a modern cylinder.. using the same other items.. a more modern pv setup with proper pipes, electrics and controll based on rpm AND engine load would be very cool. i think it could be done with carbs with tps sensors..
  7. interesting.. 10's are so much fun.. can't wait to build the next one.
  8. cool head adds 35% to your friend freak out meter. that is, if you roll up on your friend with a 400ex, and if you have a cool head, your 35% more likely to whoop them in a race
  9. wow all this and the therory isnt even right in this thread.. i can write the exact words out of the so called 2 stroke "bible" and let you know what it says. OR try and explain it like this on a twin cylinder like these the boost bottle transfers the back pulse after the reed closes and blows it over to the other side.. i dont like boost bottles because they do a bunch of differnt things, they add cc to the lower end of the motor and cause issues, they dilute the signal off of the motor and dilute the pulse pull coming from the pipe ( if its working right). they just screw with all kinds of things.. kinda like big ass intakes and reed spacers. whats intersting to me is in that same book there are paragraphs about keeping the cc of the lower end low and keeping the space between the carb and the piston as short as possible. then they talk about boost bottles and their apropriate cc range. they may work kindaish on a low hp motor or a lower cc twin that has some other kind of bs problem from the 1970's.. i mean back then it was a feat to get 15hp from a 125cc motor. now adays they make in the 35-40hp range..
  10. lonestar 3 spoke. stock axle most likely
  11. i dont skimp on keyways.. yamaha OEM.
  12. you must have alzztimers you shake when you take pics or what?
  13. i posted some excelent video's in the shout box the other day? does that count
  14. i have had pr0x pistons explode. wisecos USED to be the best available now i'm not so sure they are farming out the manu of them now and have droped some of the features. and added to the price. not sure how that works but ok. lately i have been liking wossner pistons more and more..
  15. first off. buy a manual.. it will help in all kinds of lil tid bits of info.. in the manual its shows there there are lil arrows on the boss and the pressure plate that need aligned. the up down movement is the slop in the busing and brass bearing inherint in the shit design of the banshee bearing/ basket assembly.. the OEM backing plate is hardened and is really nice. if yamaha had used a better alluminum for the basket itself and stronger cusions, they would have a superior design in my opinion i usually put the rounded edge down on the cusions just makes installing them a lil easier..
  16. there ya go.
  17. whoever said they look like cpi's is blind.. they are big and fat and thats about the best resemblence.. ah well it was worth it for that avi!!
  18. ok now the truth how many peeps have you told its a blaster motor?? also on the blaster there are these goofy rubber do dads on the fins that will help a TON with the aircooled rattle they have... might grab up a few sets and toss em on! great build here.. i'd say this should be moved to the yfz conversion section..
  19. guess battery packs and unreliable junk is better huh?
  20. still forsale. make me a GOOD offer..
  21. as or day after thanksgiving i still have them. may need them on an upcoming build
  22. its a 105 bender. if i need to i will keep the stand and can sell it without it. i'd sell for 200+ship without stand. this 105 has never had a die in it or even made a bend yet. shipping will be in the 40 bucko range. and i sent ya a PM on the other bender.
  23. what you need to look for depends on your budget and expectations. i wouldnt try and find one perfect that needs absolutely nothing for 1200 bucks..
  24. clutch is worn the hell out... measure the fibers and the steels to factory spec.
