  2. shears. no other pipe works for crap on the serval
  3. you were the fastests bike there huh..
  4. both these companies should have a writeup as to what actually happend and put an end to this bullshit.. ive never talked to RDZ but i have talked to matt shear, i felt he was a great dude to talk to and very knowledgeable about his products and always looking to improve them. all i can say about RDZ is from some of the dealing they have had in the past they have some questionable business practices .. not just with pipes but other banshee related items as well all im going to say.
  5. any shop will be much more likely to deal with you when you start handing them $$$ im not sure what shops can actually fully disasemble a crank and reasemble it from ground up including full welding and balance. most shops can handle simple crank repairs no problem. a lot of places send out things for specialty work..
  6. a properly built motor will last a long time. if you deal with someone who has seen all the problems with one and can fix them the first time it goes a long long way. i rember my first few years with dealing with these things it was very exspensive and time consuming. it took a long itme of replacing junk aftermarket shit and realizing what works and what dosent. when you get that all figured out they are very reliable and shit loads of fun to ride..
  7. buy a new motor. if you got it for free remove the head with a dang min sledge i mean really!
  8. im just going to say no. you wont like the athena kit its got like ZBIG ass exhaust port and wont do shit in the trails cept piss you off. hope that was simple enough
  9. i run custom domes most the domes around for these motors are totally wrong.
  10. install pencil turn motor till pencil stops moving mark pencil turn motor till pencil stops moving again mark pencil remove pencil go get your digital dial calipers 0 them set them to METRIC measure the distance on the marks compare to 54mm this crank is stock compare to 58mm this crank is a +4mm decide which crank you think you may have
  11. good lord.. depending on the crank you can get WISECO or WOSSNER pistons in a 66mm you can get the std piston pin height, or the stroker piston 713M06600 or 523M06600 would be the numbers you need to look for. N2fast4u? has a set for sale new in the box in the fo sale section. tell me the crank you ahve and i can let you know what piston you probably need..
  12. hmm there is a way to have your cake adn eat it too... so NO duneables cannot be rode :just like stock" i have never seen a fork completely bust off thats excellent!! hang that one up on your "OOPS" wall and be proud!
  13. dang cannot wait to see the vids.. them portourecans dont care if the motor survives even one round..
  14. throw up some graphs banshee HP~! hand coned raw gas welded pipes are extra pimp..
  15. 2500 on a good day
  16. nice skillz.. guess his fab time is about 200 an hour then?
  17. spurd ride springers and then tell me you couldnt dune that motor.. and if its slow on the strip.... 400 pv. 421 pv. DM's make a ton of power because the CC is there. they still take a proper setup and some decent tunning.
  18. what happend to the cases!! thats on hell of a weld fix there
  19. im going to guess here. hes trying to clear a banshee exhaust in a yfz frame. im just speechless
  20. i have some +2 forward +1 out old school dentons.. they are not true long travel but still neato. my DMR is a long travel j-arm style
  21. i did a very simple rebuild on a bike with CPI's i didnt think i would like them in the trails. all i did was a very basic clean up adn matched the exhaust port. with v-3's and stock carbs with a good tune it was actually a LOT of fun in the trails had more mid than i thought it would.
  22. sell it and buy a rappy 700. its like buying a corvette to haul goats in.
  23. where the pipe comes out of the cylinder the exhaust will be the same diameter as the flange. on small bores its a lil bit smaller. thats the easiest way to tell. those look like big bore's
  24. what needles are in them..
