  1. I am looking to get some new jets because my cooler fell off the truck and was holding all of my jets so where can I get cheap keihin pwk jets in california or order them.
  2. How do you find out what the volumetric compression is for a two stroke. There is a formula and I have heard that you just put one piston at tdc and use a burette to find out how many CC's you have. Does anyone know the formula?
  3. I have a +6 and I used 126 links with 14 42 gearing.You might be able to get a 120 link chain and use a 15 front and a smaller rear to make up for the ratio.
  4. I dont know if they make the edge in 22. If you like to slide around a little bit more get one less paddle with the 22-11-8's. In order to turn you need to slip the tires.
  5. Your wife does not need high dollar shocks because she does not weigh anything. I am using works tripple rates with rezivors and +3 +1 a arms and I weigh 245 with gear and it works fine at glamis. That is the only place I ride. It still gars me around over the tracks of other riders which sucks but for all other uses they work great. If the elkas get rid of the garing then your wife will like those better.
  6. I was running 280 with 27 pilot on the 3rd clip with foam filter with the lid on. You might want to try 300-320 and 27-30.
  7. I have been told to go from dgk to dek neddles on my 2-1 carb set up. I looked all over the internet to find out what that would do but no luck. This is for a 35 pwk. Does anyone know?

  9. I am also looking to find a gauge and a pump. I made all the other stuff. Do you think that a blood pressure pump would work?
  10. If you have a digital camera just take a bunch of pictures before you take it apart and then you will have no problem ecept looking up the torque numbers in the manual.
  11. Going with a big bore kit will make your tranfers in your cylinder too small. Some run good and some dont run worth crap. You might want to look into getting a crank instead. +7 is the biggest you can go with stock cylinders and that combo works really well.
  12. I have a +6 and it is cool but I dont have enough hp for it yet and need different tires for a longer swing arm. Try it stock and see how you like it and then see if you want to get a +4.
  13. The skat trak ones weigh less. I ordered them but have not tried them out vs the single rib ones I have right now. I am going to sell the ones I have now if I like the skat trak ones.
  14. I am preaty sure the wiseco crank comes welded. If wiseco does it then it has to be good. I have never seen it happen but I have only been around for 2 years but I welded mine just incase and other people here have seen it happen.
  15. They are on ebay and say they are kehins but they are really clones. I dont know how they work. I think some guy on here has them but did not post a product review.

  17. Ricky stator has high output ones for 160 I think. Dont know why you would want a stock one at that price
  18. 22-11-8 haulers any paddle you can pull. The larger tire makes huge high roost. When I follow my buddies on their atc 250r's I have to watch it or they will cover me in sand. I have 20-10-10 haulers and they throw sand good but they throw it very low to the ground and there is no way you can get any of your buddies with these tires.
  19. Just got my 22-11-8's on 9 paddles buffed bead to bead for 242 plus 20 for shipping from jims sand toys. Fullerton sand tire wanted 272 but no shipping because I live right next to them. Just thought everone wanted to know that I got tires comming lol.
  20. I like the look of the cpi out of frame pipes with silencers. I would go with either cpi or shear. I have t-5s right now and I was talking to rudy kurtz and he said that the cpi's will give me 5-8 more hp over my t-5 with porting.
  21. Dont waste your money on the 2-1 when you are planning on getting a +4 stroker. You would have to buy 33-35 carbs once you get the bigger crank. Just get the pipe for now and save for your dream motor.
  22. I am going to get some tires from this guy. I am going to get 22-11-8 on 9 paddle etreme buffed from bead to bead. It looks way better buffed bead to bead or double buffed or super light, TRUST ME WAY BETTER. He post on planetsand and seems to be a cool guy. I am going to order tomorrow. I am also going to try to afford some mohawks for the front. His prices are very very good. Cheapest I have seen anywhere.   23. It sounds like you want more power from what you have now. Since you have stock pipes you should get pipes before you get carbs. So get the cpi pipes and then when you have the money get carbs,porting,and all the other things you want. The cpi pipes will work for now and later all the way up to your plans for a +4 stroker. Ebay has them for sale or you can call cpi themselves.
  24. I have only stayed at the washes. Usually wash 4 and it is dusty. I stayed at wash 14-16 a couple of times with my exs friends and like that the best because not that many people like to go that far back there so less dust and also when you head straight out into the dunes you go through little then medium size dunes which are my favorite becuase of the things you can do on them. Big dunes you just pin it and wait to turn. They are still cool but get old quick for me. I like the ghekko loop too but I have only visited friends there. I dont really care where I stay at just as long as the people I am there with can ride.
