  1. do you notice that when you let off the gas that the bike slows down quicker?
  2. After seeing what my post turned out to be I desided to make a new clean post so no one mess it up. Boonman on my lathe I can chuck it up on the back side of the flywheel in the middle with the three fingers going out to hold it. I tried it and turned on the machine and brought the cutter buy just to see if it was even and it scraped only on one side opposite of the balancing drill marks. It is very close to cutting on the other side too so I think it is even. How do you chuck yours up? Do you have a picture of the device. I am just excited to use my new lathe that I would like to do it myself. I do not plan on doing anyone elses so please dont ask me.
  3. well thanks for the help guys guess I am going to do it blind! and see how it turns out. .
  4. Id have him port it. Make sure he knows how much exhaust numbers he wants to use. I think its somewhere around 180-198. Also make sure he gives you a deal.
  5. I have a lathe and wanted to know how much I can take off a flywheel to lighten it. I know to take it off on the outer rib on both sides of the magnets but is there any other place on the flywheel to take off material. Someone thought it was 80 thous off the out rib.

  7. I have some skat trak extreme haulers 20 10 10 9 paddle haulers with blue label rims. I used them for on season at glamis about 5 trips. No riped or cracked blades. I am looking for $120 + shipping. I will have some dune trackers also but I am not sure what those are worth. Both sets are very nice though but I have not taken pictures yet.
  8. I have some 20 10 10 9 paddle haulers for sale if you did not get any yet. One season at glamis on blue label rims $120
  9. make sure to use your sears screw driver so you can use the lifetime warranty. I would try the chissel, the screw driver that you hit the end of it but try to make a slot on the head with a dremel and once you get them out use allen ones and use blue lock tite on every bolt on the damm shee. You will not have to tighten it that tighten it that tight and it will hold. I learned this the hard way. My bolts kept falling out. BLUE LOCK TIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. does anyone have these tires? Mine can out to be 73 roll out and they are very tall. I dont know about duning on these things. I had some other ones but they were 71 roll out which is what I though a 22 inch tire was so does anyone have any experiance with these?
  11. What is the tipical roll out on some skat trak 22-11-8 tires?
  12. I dont run one either because it looks stupid and weighs too much. Yes I weigh over 200 but hey I am 6'6" so there is no way around it. I have been running 20 10 10's and have had no problems at glamis and now I am going to run 22-11-8 so now I dont think there will ever be a problem.
  13. make sure that your attactment goes all the way into the dome like the spark plug would. I still have to get another attachment.
  14. Did you diconect the little black box under the left fender? If you did not you will have to always have your finger on the throttle in order to complete the curcit.
  15. I ordered 22-11-8 with 9 paddle extreme tires but have not tried it yet at glamis. I think I will be going soon if you can wait.
  16. everyone on planetsand was saying that sidewinders links break. Dont know for myself and not trying to bash them
  17. Why dont you like Guy? I see him at glamis all the time. His group is a little out of control but he sells things that are hard to find and that helps a lot of people out. I think once he grows up he will be an awesome business man for the quad world. If you have a honda 250r then hit him up that is his specialty.
  18. The 22-11-10's with have more traction than the shorter ones.
  19. I think you mean 22-11-8 on 9 paddles. 9 paddles will need about 60-65hp and maybe a swing arm.
  20. I went last weekend and camped at geko for the first time and it kicks the washes ass. No dust at all and the canal is soooo close to swim in. The only problem is you have to go thursday night just to get a spot. Oh ya dont camp there because I wont have a spot either lol. If you have never been to the canal then you are missing out!!!!!!!Just bring a long rope to tie to each side of the canal by way of the ladders.
  21. You have to slide that cable into the grove on the 6mm socket style slide piece.
  22. anywhere else? Also do they sell 10 packs or sets for cheaper money?
  23. There are some asr ones on ebay has anyone tried those?
  24. A family I go to glamis with has 4 250r atcs and they get there stuff done by eddie sanders in california and they run hard and have nothing bad to say about him.
