I love the PJ's. They are cheap. I agree they are a little harder to tune. Once you get use to them you can save some cash running them.
I don't seem to have a problem with them when I line up to race.
I set 00tbanshee up with 2 different sets and he is at the top of 2 different classes. Might be the motor he's running though.....
I have a Banshee motor from a Bobby Walker in TN. I think he is a member here. If anyone knows how to get a hold of him tell him his phone number is not working for me.
Thanks Kevin
I did check it. We will have to look at it again along with everything else. I know you are frustrated but these things happen and we can get it fixed. Its hard troubleshooting over the phone. Bring it over.
You can bring it over to me and we can check it out. Didn't I sell you a modified stock head for that bike? Did we put it on when I did the rebuild for you?
Its a pain but has to be a simple problem. Its a simple system.
Thats hard to swallow. I hate the job market from the outside looking in. Starting somewhere new. Proving yourself all over again for half the pay.
Good luck on the job hunt
What is the lube in it? They do this out of the shop I buy mine at. The guy said the lube was for stability. It allows you to let the Alky sit in the tank and carb for a few days. I never let my Alky mix sit in the tank or carb overnight. I did when I first started using it but ran into problems.
I buy whatever is in stock lubed not lubed and run it and drain/flush it daily.
That looks nice! Time to get the bike.......err bikes together RV fixed.......rail together. Hold on, can I have more time please. Seasons coming too fast!
Should be about 1 to 2 turns out. Stock intake boots are fine. Just boil them in water and with a hot mitt on your hand grab the intake boot and slide the carb in.
I dont think your pipes are to blame unless they are big bores on a 450 or smaller CC engine. I would start by jetting down the main. What needle are you running? May be rich on that also. CEJ, CEK, or CEL work well.
