I used 52 pilots, 158 mains and CEJ needles in my 4 mil dune setups. CEL and CEK are good needles also. Just error on the fat side first.

The 4 strokes are getting fast. The fastest one out running the day before the 4 stroke wars was keeping up with one of my 350 ported drag banshee. It was a newly built raptor 700. Never got to talk to him. I clocked him doing upper 60's at the hill.

The temp wasn't bad but my trip was. Never made it out to Olds guys, sorry. Had unforeseen problems come up.

When I started I used 1/8 all the time. As you get more comfortable with the feel of it you will go bigger. Some places are limited on size. I use 1/4 in the transfer tunnels of the banshees. I use 1/2 in the intake and exhaust. I don't finish with these sizes in either place. When you need to remove a lot of material use the biggest bit you can. The bit stays cooler and works faster. My favorite but least used are the single cut aluma hog bits. I don't have any shots of the bits I use but some shots of the work I do in my sig.

You can mix it just like your Banshee but disconnect the oil injector. Don't do both. The oil injector takes away the ability to adjust your mix. I never had a problem with using the oil injector unit. Just check the oil tank before each ride. It takes a good amount of time to empty it.

What needle is in it?

Your at 64.50 piston size (.020 over). first step up in piston size. Are you on a stock size crank? Measure from the top of the cylinder down to the top of the exhaust opening (in MM) and I can give you the duration of the exhaust port. Your other ports look at stock duration. Click on the pictures, that will explain the ports.

On the last picture I see your spacers. Try moving the pipe flange to the outside of the hanger and put a spacer or two there if needed. That flange on the pipe might be welded up wrong.

I ran 3 hd and 3 stock cause I couldnt shift fast with all 6 hd springs in. It makes the shifts slow and heavy. I run all 6 hd springs now and dont use the clutch. :biggrin:
