  1. well you need to totally rule out jetting first. what jetting are you running? have you cleaned your carbs lately making sure no jets are plugged? did you make sure the floats move up and down freely? before you start trying to track down an electrical problem work on the carbs first. also, i have had spark plugs foul out on the top end before. it would run fine until about half or 3/4 throttle then spit and sputter.. pull a plug and see what kinda spark youre getting..
  2. stock or 4mm stroke drop right in. 7mm and up require case trenching. im assuming you are just running stock. clean up the cases. new seals. drop in and go..
  3. stock yfz450 tires are about as light as you can get for the rears.. i doubt youll find too much difference in the fronts between tires. kenda knarlys are also a pretty light tire.. you wanna stay away from anything that says HD on them for sure..
  4. how old is that topend? id consider boring and moving up a size in the piston.. sounds like you need a rebuild to me. 100 psi is way low. you really need to be up around 150..
  5. id say prolly stock unless someone really knows what theyre looking for..
  6. turn on - nice tits and ass turn off - roast beef curtains
  7. what do your plugs look like? you need to do a wide open throttle plug check to see how they look. if they are really wet and dark youre too rich. if they are white colored youre lean. you need to be a cardboard color. also, the pilot will have nothing to do with how it runs at WOT so you can rule that out now. but it prolly needs the 27.5 pilot to idle right..
  8. t5 all the way.. i wouldnt bother with pro circuit or t6.. t5 are great for stock motor and once ported will really shine.
  9. kenda knarly or stock yfz450 tires...
  10. what up homie? welcome to hq..
  11. its just crap from inside your radiator and maybe inside the clutch cover..dont worry about it.
  12. ill be the first to tell you... if you dont know what the ports are, why they are there and whether or not to port them you have NO business porting cylinders... heres an example... i know how to use a computer. i know it has cards inside, but i dont know why or really what they do.. therefore i wouldnt go modding my computer since i dont really have the necessary knowledge to precisely and efficiently make it better..
  13. have you checked your brake pads lately? how about the brake fluid? any leaks? did you have brakes before? something had to cause you to not have brakes...
  14. you get a discount from mod quad sine they are a site sponsor.. go with them.
  15. i have a gateway desktop.. is that cool or not so hip? p.s. my girlfriend says hi!
  16. id prolly start with 330 mains and work from there.. if you have some 340 might even try that. 27.5 pilot for sure tho..
  17. id say about 280 just pipes and 300 with air filter for starting points.. youll need to raise the pilot to 27.5 also.
  18. you might need to rebuild the brake caliper. they make kits for that.
  19. call FAST 1 785 364 5325.. jeff can set you up with a complete clutch setup for way under 900 bucks and it will perform excellent..i run them on 4mm cubs making 90 hp with no issues..
  20. one wire just grounds somewhere on your bike and the other connects to where the orange wire goes into your coil... what hillclimb? grab some pics..
  21. 2 into 1 is just one carb. generally creates better bottom end.. id personally just stick with dual carbs...
  22. umm, i dont think you should be porting anything if you have to ask what the ports are and wat they do..
  23. its not a mod. its necessary to jet your bike when you make modifications such as pipes or reeds..
  24. where is it located? snap some pics of it..
  25. you only have one carb?? what carb is it and what jets are in it?
