  1. Damn that sucks Ever go riding right off of 495 exit 71? Those trails go for miles, I believe even to the back by the Riverhead jail/Sheriff. I've gone there a few times about a year or two ago, but I've never seen any patrols. Don't know about now, but am really tempted to go back and see. :ninja: What's your favorite low key spot?
  2. I think so...I am always open to new ideas, How do you bleed your brakes?
  3. I have had a rear brake issue since I bought this shee in'04. It started witha locking caliper, warping the rotors, but I finally ditched it after temporary fixes. I bought a used rear brake system with a new rotor and pads, and have swapped out my old set up. I bleed the whole system numerous times but I still have the same mushy rear brake feel with not much bite. When I rode my boyz shee I went to slow wheelie it, and I had to jab the rear brake like I would on mine, and MAAN! It came down so fast and hard, I almost went over the bars!. I am all out of options. I have bleed the rear system so many times, different ways, and I can't see any visible leaks. WHY do I continue to have shit brakes???????? Could it be the rear master cylinder? Maybe you guys can suggest a different type of bleeding method? -this is not the first time I have bleed brakes. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks
  4. A friend of mine, who goes hunting out east told me about these trails off of exit 66 (Sills Rd) off the 495 -behind Yaphank Jail. I went there in December and I thought it was pretty big and decent trails. I've been wanting to ride some trails again. I am getting tired of the usual spot -The pitt, exit 56 on the 495. I used to ride by Pilgrim State Psychiatric center but to many raids. My hunter friend told me about these trails that go for miles and out possibly to the north shore (behind Brook Haven Labs). This is also exit 66 but instead he told me to make a left at the light and take it all the way to the telephone company. Has any body ever ridden here , and if so is it safe? To many stories of police raids out east, going around. I NEED SOME SEMI COP FREE TRAILS! ::
  5. Thanks for the responses guys. Looks like am slapping on a filter...and my boyz too! Oh and Dante, the girl in my avatar is Vida Guerra from the FHM magazine :woot:
  6. Just wondering if a gas filter can be used on two strokes(not enough oil making it past?)and if so is there a specific type? I am getting tired of having to take the carbs out to clean the jets. Some how I have been elected the chief carb tech in my crew and I was just wondering if the fuel filter would help keep 'em clean? If not, back to sniffing my gas dried hands again :geek: Thanx fellas
  7. Big Will with the BIG come back Glad to hear you're doin better brotha. I hope you blast your ass down the road of recovery just as fast as you did in that coalfest vid :thumb:
  8. Well from what I understand you're supposed toss the lid in the ga'bage. They say that the damping material surrounding the inner part of the helmet is there to slow and soften the impact so your brain doesn't slam full force. The damping material (which looks like foam to me) is now condensed in that area and no longer offers that cushion, which is why you're supposed to get a new lid. If it was me, and the impact wasn't that hard....what am I talking about that was me a month ago -f#@k it, I'd wait to the next big spill
  9. Well as a safety net you better get that right foot to dab that back break on instinct or reflex, your choice
  10. Well 29 yrs here AND still learning things the hardway. Doh
  11. YEAH I WENT I wanted to go on saturday....but I decided to go riding instead The weather was to nice for mid january to let it pass by. Had a great time and did not regret it, even met a fellow HQer, buuuuttt I forgot to ask his screen name, and I forgot his name . But did I mention I had a helluva time Anyways I got there on sunday at 5:00 when it closed me and my boyz snuck in and took the express tour saw a lot of hot shit and man that Suzi 450R looks like it's gonna kick ass !!! man I wish I would've road up there
  12. Off subject...but that was pretty funny I like your sense of humor, I mean persistence
  13. Aw man just what I wanted to hear Well am from the Brentwood area so if I just want to do some quick trail riding I go 10 minutes away and I ride behind pilgrim psychiatric center, or you might recognize it as the Heartland industrial area where the bikes go to do some stuntin. I also go off of the 495 (L.I.E) by exit 56, it's a big pitt with a very small trail blast. That's uaually bumping on weekends but nothing to spectacularbut it's pretty safe cause I hear you gotta watch out for the DEC in the pilgrim woods. If I got plenty of time I'll go head out east on the 495and go to Riverhaed/Yaphank area right off of exit71,you make a right when you get to the stop sign and then another right on the first block on your right and just take it to the end. I am always looking for some new spots to ride on LI so please bless me with some of your hot spots If you got any questions just hit me up
  14. OH MY GOD ! That shirt is so wrong Damn the and his temptations... speaking of submitting to temptations I have to go... something came up
