  1. Are they for sale?
  2. Unless you put knobbies on, your bike will be almost unrideable. I run 22 11 8, 12 paddle xtremes on an 8 over arm. Pulls the front end up at will. 10 paddles would be a better choice for my setup though.
  3. I used the washers. The real problem is when the bike gets gets flipped and lands on the bars. It bends the frame. Thats the real reason why the radiator is back further than it should be.
  4. How bout Canada? Or Mexico?
  5. The pic of the 1987 Banshee is NOWHERE close to an 87. You would think an official Yamaha website would get it right.
  6. Dan has always returned my calls. Works on my bikes when I see him at the dunes. Can't ask for more than that.
  7. Htown, being a right to work state doesn't help your wages, benefits or length of employment. Really hard to be Union when everyone is undercutting wages. I'm proud to be Union and haven't had any non paid time off in16 years.
  8. Got my Cub's from Dan. Could'nt be happier.
  9. I'm running 90+ Hp through a stock basket, Tusk clutch. 6 Toomey springs and a ASV lever to help lessen the pull. Made one full season in the sand.
  10. You need to recheck your stop. It may not look messed up but it is. Usually they bend forward and allow too much steering. On mine, I took a long bar, placed it on the stop from the front of the bike and used a hammer to bend it back. I then welded in a triangular gusset. Good luck.
  11. Get it done right. http://www.davemooreracing.com/Chassis_mods.html I'm sure others do it too.
  12. Just catch the highest coil with one hook of a ratchet tie down, run the tie down around the end of the shock and back up to the highest coil(other side) that you can get it on.Crank the spring down. Slide the collar up to expose the big circlip. Move the circlip to the desired groove. Release the whole mess. Done.

  14. 148 Main 48 Pilot and CEL in the middle. 4mill Cub,68 bore, 35 PWK's at sea level.Case is ported.
  15. Nothing to lose? Be carefull, if it comes apart you'll lose the cases, basket ect...... I'd pony up for the billet basket. IMHO.
  16. You also may want to replace your plug boots. Pretty cheap and will probably fix your problem.
  17. Shearer makes the best pipe for my setup, but I sure wouldn't run them on a stock port. If your planning for the future, go for it. If you stay stock long, I'd go for the T-5's.
  18. 22 11 8 is my tire of choice. With the 8 inch rim, if you hit a root(like Windy Bay has), it has less of a chance of denting. Also when dragging, the 8 inch tire will grow with wheel speed. Lets you get out of the hole with a small tire, then grows as you run the hill.Kinda like a top fueler. Let us all know when you are coming up to Oregon.
  19. The head will work fine. I run a Noss head on my 68 mm bore Cub.
  20. Just remember, if you loop it out, you have a better chance of breaking your frame. Lot's more leverage. Trust me.
  21. Works great for sand drags. No lights for the night riders though.
  22. I just clamp the shock in a vice, then run a ratchet style tie down from the top of the spring, down under the shock and back up to the top of the spring( on the other side). Worked great.
  23. Cause you can find a parking spot and you can ride all night.
  24. Try this one too. http://www.caswellplating.com/
  25. All depends on mods, tires where you are gonna ride(sand, dirt) ect.....
