  1. I've got some FMF Fatties in good shape. I'm looking for $100. I'm in Colorado near Denver.
  2. Ok, pics will be sent a little later tonight when I get home. -Mike
  3. These are in nice shape. A small ding on one pipe. They polished up pretty nice, not like new, but they do have shine to them. Nothing else to say... $110...I pay shipping. If they don't sell by Saturday, its e-bay time. e-mail for pics. mcb4793@msn.com -Mike Arvada, CO
  4. Looks nice...but I also have the plastc relocator, in the forn of three zip ties! If you need extra plugs, throw them in where the tools go.
  5. Ok...I ran with the 142.5 this weekend...and needle on the middle I think it was. It ran pretty well in the garage, and started out dencent on the trail (a friend was riding it). At the first fairly big hill, it just flat out wouldn't climb! No popping or anything, just no power. This was at about 8500 feet. So, almost went back to the truck, but decided to go for it and ride a while longer. After almost an hour of riding (slowly)...here comes my friend almost passing me. We stop, and its running like a champ! Not tons of power, but decent for a Warrior. The whole rest of the ride, it ran great. I'm guessing it was an electrical issue. Now I don't know if I should just sell it off to the guy that wanted it...or ride it a few more times, just in case it starts acting up again (don't want to screw anyone over on the sale). Anyway, its running pretty well....a touch rich right now, but I might just leave it alone unless it starts fouling plugs. -Mike
  6. Ok, I took her out on a little trip this weekend. It ran pretty well, but not perfect. Still a little touchy at low throttle (ok...makes sense to go back to middle clip on needle). It was also a trying to bog out a bit...I was at a pretty high elevation. I think I'll go to the 260 main, go to the middle clip, and give 'er hell! I gotta say, when I do get the powerband kicked in nicely, it screams! I'll try this and see what happens. Thanks again for all the hlep!
  7. Check this one out... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DRINK-HOLDE...1QQcmdZViewItem I guess it would work fine on that Honda....not sure how I could ride a Banshee without losing everything in the can! When I stop for a break, my hand is my beer holder...so not sure who needs this. Funny though.
  8. Ok, pulled the jet...its was a 132.5. I went up to a 142.5, and its much better! It now has a little hesitation at low throttle. I dropped to needle to the bottom notch (was one above that), and it helped very little. Its rideable now, but a little annoying to be hesitant like that. Its almost perfect if you pull the choke just a touch. Does that help?? I tried the air screw, but that didn't make a difference, so went back to where I started on that. I was told it could be the pilot jet...any ideas??? Thanks again!
  9. Ok... I dropped the 270s back in, it seemed to run better with them. Also I ride at higher altitudes than my house, so I thought the leaner one would be better...is that right? I checked the needle and I was one above the middle notch. I dropped to the one below the middle notch. Seems to run pretty well now. Just a little touchy on the throttle, then smoothes out at about half throttle. It picks up fine, but just doesn't seem to pull quite right at lower speeds. Maybe I'll try the middle notch and see if that gets me there...or the lowest notch? Plug is pretty good, a little on the grey side of chocolate...is that ok? Seems like this is coming together! AND...Man this is a new machine! It wants to lift the tires in first, second, and third...haven't been past there.
  10. Ok, 270 jets were in...took it around the block, and its not as good as I'd like it to be. Plug looked a little on the light side, so I dropped in a 280 jet. The plug is good now, but its really hesitant from idle to about 3/4 throttle. I guess thats a needle problem then?? I'll try to adjust that and see what happens. I'm guessing its a little lean, so I'll go that way first. Seems like there wasn't too much difference in the 270 and 280....which one would be better at higher altitudes? I don't ride here in the neighborhood much I did manage to get one carb top off...I'll try the other now I guess.
  11. Ok...went to the 290. Seems to be a little too rich, plug is pretty black. Runs decent, but a little hesitant at times. I think the 270 sounds right...I'll try tomorrow and see what happens. One thing, I can't get the tops off the carbs. (yes, I took the retainer off!) I still have the TORS, so I really have to get them off sometime. Any suggestions?? I even got the pipe wrench out, but no luck.
  12. Well, being that you're only a few miles away...I'll give your suggestion a try! I'm picking up some jets tomorrow, so I'll buy a couple and see what happens. Not sure when I'll make it to Walden...probably not this year though. I need some paddles for the Banshee. I have some Blackwaters that will probably get me around, but if I'm going to do it....I want to do it right! Thanks again!!
  13. Thanks for all the info!! I'll try to rejet this weekend. I was a little hesitant to do that, being the plug still looks fine. Maybe I'm not running it long enough to burn it up. I figured something was running too hot when the exhaust turned red. Thanks again...I'll update after the rejetting.
