  1. Your last post makes it look like Cascade makes CPI pipes. After rereading it, I can see thats not what you intended.
  2. When we are riding across the lakes here in our dunes and dump it(motorcycles). We just drag it to shore, flip it over and crank the engine over to get the water out. Your case, I would pull the carbs and reeds and flip it on its ass.
  3. Works really good. But spendy.
  4. Love the sound of that pipe. Kinda sounds like a Formula 1 car.
  5. Sounds like K&A Customs. If it is, he's a scammer. Run.
  6. ALL banshee parts are the same with the exception of A-arms/J-arms, rear hubs and wheels, electrical connectors(as you stated),heel guard crap, seat height, tail light,headlights,ect....Feel free to add to the list. But all the real parts, such as motor parts and chassis parts are more or less the same. Maybe you don't want to order a shift shaft for a 1987, order the 2005. I no for a fact that they are the same, as are MOST parts. Also, you may be right that the earlier parts may cost more, what I am saying is that they are the SAME part.I'll have to check at my local Yamaha shop.
  7. Why would 96 and newer have cheaper parts? Very few changes from 87 to present. There ARE changes, but MOST of the parts are the same.
  8. I see you have an original style Banshee carrier. If you go with the 40mm drag axle, you 35mm stock carrier will not work.
  9. I'll second the Dynoport. And the crisscross pipes are, I believe, Paul Turner's.
  10. Never have a problem getting a return e-mail. He's an even nicer guy in person.
  11. Penn ran out of gas. I was pullin for him though.
  12. My stock Shearer silencers tested at 109 db. 4 or 5 good weekends on the packing.
  13. I'm still running my stock 1987 impeller. I have a new alum. one on the shelf though. Just need time to install.
  14. I run my 4 mill on Super Unleaded. Patriot cut the domes.
  15. Those pipes will really respond to porting and more mods. I've never seen Shearer's on a stocker before.
  16. You left the head gasket on with a Noss head??????????????????????
  17. Does the Trinity use Pro Design style domes or Trinity specific domes.
  18. I'd go with an 8 inch rim myself. Just my preference.
  19. Easy guy's. There's a fast stock cylinder Banshee that came out of the back room at Bay Area Yamaha. The owner is a nice guy too. Both Bay Area and Parkers sell and maintain bikes. They leave the high powered builds to the dedicated engine builders. I know nothing about the shop in Reedsport. I only know that you had better do the speed limit there. They have more cops than any place around.
  20. What size are the intakes? (I mean, what size carbs is it set up for).
