  1. Sorry, one more thing. Girlfriend? I wish, wife wont let me have one, believe me, I've asked.
  2. Check this out http://www.tdubracing.com/ Bout $275 for the swinger, $150 for the carrier. This looks to be bare. Looks real similar to Modquad.
  3. I'm gonna try to let this one go. At least the HQ got a few more hits from PS members, I don't think they will be back.
  4. I'm gonna start by saying 99% of Cubs get at least a clean up port before going on an engine. If its a bad casting, I believe that Calvin will replace it even after it has been modded. As for the "And what is the great benny to a chrome bore???". That has been posted in this post a couple of different times. I suggest one goes back and reads. The stock Banshee bore is outdated tech. Most new machines come with a Nikasil bore. Nikasil is tough. If properly taken care of, will last almost forever. End of the season, just replace the piston and rings, good to go. Has a better heat transfer to boot. Go here http://usnicom.com/ to learn more. Again, up till now, EVERY stock cylinder stroker combo motor has the piston coming out of the cylinder.(Unless you use a spacerplate). EVERY good running stroker also has custom cut domes. I can go to ANY of the good builders and get a set of domes just by telling them what I have. And this is part is directed at Sandstar, I have a hard time listening to any advice given by someone that apparantly does not know much about stroker motors or current technology. If you don't know that the pistons can come out the top a little, why would you argue with guys that know. Pretty insane. One last thing, did you get your name from the tires you run? Everyone is entitled to an opinion, its just how you deliver yours that gets to me. Sorry.
  5. Are you sure????????????I'm not.
  6. Hey broke, I know how an open wye open delta bank will give you 3 phase power with just 2 cans.
  7. Just take a couple steels and a couple fibres. Drill and bolt them together. Then use a strap wrench to hold the basket.
  8. I just reread this entire mess, a lot of good and a lot of bad. One thing that stood out this time though was, a sportport outdoing a professionally ported bike? I really don't think so. I'm sure we can round up a few Patriot bikes and head down your way this coming season, or you can come up here. I'm sure everyone, including you, will have a good time. To each his own. I bet my wife would like the way Dans motor would pull through the entire RPM spread. She doesn't like a peaky, all top bike. So maybe I'll sell her Raptor and build one of Dan's Cubs.
  9. No I measured from the center of the swingarm bolt, to the center of the axle. Both swingers were side by side on the ground, bare with carriers installed.
  10. 1 Keep track of how much was taken off. With that info, any good builder can work with ya.Taking material off the bottom will effect what replacement parts? Just the domes. 2 Again, the domes must have to be cut. Just like everyone running a stock cylinder 4 mm ect....Unless they have a spacerplate. So every custom stock cylinder 4 mill, 7 mill ect... is tied to that builder forever??? 3 Warranty? I don't think so. Do a search on the internet to find a place to fix and plate a Cub. There's lots of them. Most modern 2 strokes are now Nikosiled. Yes I'm a Patriot fan. Dan does great work and does his best to help EVERYONE out. This is just my opinion too.
  11. I run the 68 4 mill Cub with a +8 swing. (22 11 8) 12 paddle Extremes. 10 paddle's would work good too. These Cubs like long swingarms.
  12. Twin bearing JJ&A.
  13. Most builder's get their Cheetahs from Calvin at CP Ind. not Trinity.
  14. This guy is pretty unbelieveable, but have a look http://www.planetsand.com/ubbthreads/showf...0/page/0#326349
  15. My +4 is 22.5 inches. Thats from the center of the front pivot to the center of the rear axle. My new +8 is 26.5 inches. Just measured tonight.
  16. I got mine at the local Yamaha shop. $2.50 a piece.

    CUBS

  18. My Shearers required a trim. So I just bucked them all the way off.
  19. Yeah, this ones the air cooled RD 350. From looking at it, the air cooled cylinders and head may interchange. Might make for a fun weekend runnin those, if they fit. Can't tell that the cases are wider just looking at it. Does the tranny have different gear ratios? I guess I should just open it up.
  20. Will any parts from a RD (not RZ) 350 motor transfer over to a Banshee motor? I'm cleaning out the shop and need to know if I should keep this rusty turd.
  21. 3/4, oval or rectangle tube?
  22. I swear I just saw this bike in the Oregon Dunes last weekend, WITHOUT Rocket Pipes.Maybe I'm wrong.
  23. Check that your basket bushing isn't seizing to the shaft.
