Ok I already figured out what was happening... but now I have a new problem... the kick starter is returning and everything looks fine... but when I kick..the kick starter goes all the way down and it hits the foot peg... I don't know if it's supposed to hit the foot peg to make it stop... or if my kick starter is going down more than normal... since I haven't been riding for a long time I don't remember how low is it supposed to go... please any opinions or suggestions are welcome... thanks
I took my clutch case cover to get it chrome and when I put everything back on it seemed OK, but now when I try to turn on my banshee the kick starter wont return and I can move it all the way around... I know it's something inside the case that I put wrong... but can someone help me out with a diagram or some pictures or at least instructions on how to install the kick starter inside the side case??
As for suspension goes I have +2 +1 A-ARMS, Axcalibur Axle +2 and Dune Edition Elka shocks. and Haulers with 10paddles. with mohawks in front.
I have stock carbs right now with no porting or shaved heads or cool heads.
So what will I need. 4MM/68 BORE
which cool head and carbs?
and what other stuf will I need so I can see what the real price will be so I can start building my banshee next week? <--everybody
I hit the dunes last week and I thought the guy that was beating all the other guys had a 500cc+ motor but I was wrong... He had his stock motor(well not any more) tuned really nice...
I see that on this forum you like 4MM with 68bore... I don't know if these works with my setup or what else do I need to upgrade... (by the way. I live in San Diego if you know of a good builder let me know)
03' BANSHEE
FMF FATTYS
V-Force 3
K&N filter & jets
boost bottle
and that's about it since I had the warranty for 2 years and I couldn't upgrade the motor. But now the warranty is gone and I really want an ass ripping banshee...
What would bet the best setup to go throug or cheap mods that will give me better performance???
I bought a pair of stainless brakelines and I know how to install them the only thing the I don't know how to do is put the brake fluid in it... Someone told me that there is a vent valve or something to remove air that's stuck on the lines... please I need a lil help...
I do a lot of trail riding and I hit the dunes sometimes. I just want to have a smooth ride without jumping on every bump. The reason I was asking it's because the WORKS with REZ are around the same price as the ELKAS without the REZ. So if trail riding and dunes are the only places I go. Which option would be the best? I can get them for around $450 both. If you know of a cheaper place please let me know
I just bought a LoneStar Racing A=Arm Kit and I'm looking for a pair of shocks. Im deciding between buying the Regular ELKA shocks(dual rate) or the WORKS AT-STEELERS W/REZ(dual rate). Since both are around the same price I don't know which ones to buy... I know Elka are better, but if I don't have the rezzys on the ELKAS and the WORKS come with them... WHICH WOULD BE THE BETTER CHOICE?
where can I find the Noss heads... and around how much are they..??? and will they work for me... I only have FMF PIPES, KN FILTER, DYNO JETS, BOOST BOTTLE and that's it...
I've seen a lot of guys that polish stator covers and that stuff instead of buying polished covers... but my question is... If I want to polish my parts instead of sending them to a shop.. what tools do I need to do the work myself?
