  2. Mostly trails then 28 might be the way to go. I certainly wouldn't go bigger than 33s on a trail bike.
  3. What kind of riding do you do? Since its a serval I'll assume bottom and mid are important to you so I'd recommend PWK 33s. If I had to guess I would say FAST will be having a Black Friday 10% off sale as they had in the past which would be a good time to buy them.
  4. I've been considering one of the Wicked heads with the thermostats. You have any experience with or opinions about them? I don't know anyone who has actually run one.
  5. Changing the cap will not change the temperature the bike runs at unless the bike already boils over. In that case it will boil over at a higher temperature which may be a bad thing. I would recommend an inline temperature gauge anyhow, you're not going to see that thing under the cover unless you cut it up.
  6. Lol I guess that's easier. If it falls through let me know Kawa and I'll throw it on FB.
  7. You mind if I put this up on FB with a link to here? That's a great deal for someone and I think it'd sell fast there?
  8. Its hard to find a good running motor for $500 which is I believe what hes wants. I sent him 3 or 4 months ago ranging from $700-1500 but none fit the criteria I guess. Anyways, sorry to jack your post OP, nice looking engine, GLWS.
  9. I'm happy to help! To clarify I don't know if its trash or the core is worth something, I just have screwed up enough stuff to know what a round file is.

  11. I believe they make an mx and an xc set for banshees with the mx being the wider of the two. Maybe they discontinued the XC? You should be able to adjust those floats so that both you and your brother can ride it but I won't tell him . The valving might be a little soft for him but turning up the adjusters and increasing the pressure I doubt he'd ever know a difference between those and ones setup for a heavier rider.
  12. Damn that's going to be a nice setup! Are those the XC arms? I guess you solved the problem of you and your brother both riding the bike huh?
  13. All shocks are freshly serviced with ZERO HOURS (new orings, seals, oil and nitrogen) and ready to ride. Reasonable offers considered. Send me your email address for more pictures please. - Elka Fronts ($600): 19.25" setup for 185lb rider on Fireball arms. Excellent condition. - Elka Rear ($550): Stage 4 ( equivalent to newest stage 5 with pre-load, rebound and high/low speed compression adjustment). New bump stop and spring. A few scratches but overall great shape. 205lb rider. - Black Works (SOLD) - Chrome Works ($400): Triple rate, fresh polish, excellent condition. 180-200lb rider. - Raw Works ($280): Dual rate, fresh polish, excellent condition. Tender springs are brand new. All spring are raw, it will be a while before I PC anymore stuff so though I'd throw these out there for cheaper if someone wanted to get them coated to match their build. Will include all the bushings as well. Ready to ride as is if you wanted. 180-200lb rider. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  14. New, never been on a bike before. A few scuffs from handling but practically mint. Shock is pre-load, rebound and compression adjustable. Equivalent to the newest stage 4. Setup for 165lb rider on a stock arm. $850 + fees Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  15. The only way that is possible is if you have some huge nut on there. Just order an OEM nut and be done with it. I've got some in San Diego you can pick up for free if you don't want to spend the money.
  16. Yes they are different. J-arm/a-arm spindles and calipers must be changed as a set. https://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/topic/136722-j-arm-vs-a-arm/
  17. Depends on how nice they are. Black is one of the few colors you can still get new. Both tank and rad cover are about $120 new. Add a few more dollars for rivets and the rubber strips.
  18. Yes you can sleeve a stock cylinder and run 68mm pistons for a 392 with stock stroke crank. A 4mil on 65.5mm pistons would give you a 391. Lots of other combinations available to get in the neighborhood of 392. Lots of people run big carbs on stock cylinders for more top end. I don't know about the Il market but $1200 for the whole bike sounds like a deal for someone. In Southern CA in that condition (assuming it runs and titled) would bring $1700-2000 pretty easily. Knock about $500 off for no title and another $500 if it doesn't run.
