  1. Shorter ones will cover the filter area. I run the longer ones on my bikes and it also protects the rear fender. Downside of the longer one is you can see them on the stinger tubes. Here they are on Shearer and T5 stingers, both same length heat shield. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  2. Buy some stinger heat shields from Cascade, money well spent not having to ever replace filters. http://www.cascadeinnovations.net/store/store_View.cfm?STORE_AREA_ID=13&store_dept_id=168
  3. I bought it raw. I'm trying to get all the red off my bike so I do have some stripping and reanodizing to do. I plan on clear anodizing most of my raw aluminum parts once I get them all together. Thank you for the compliment! And you are correct about the length of the swingarm having nothing to do with the shock fitting or not. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  4. I'm leaning towards modifying my lsr but if not I will buy a new Fireball. Now that you've broken that in a bit you ready to sell it? I need a -1 for my upcoming mx build.
  5. Sounds like a solid plan. You saved me a lot of hassle, I was going to pc it anyways but wouldn't have fit checked it first if it wasn't for your post in this thread.
  6. Thank you! Its been a work in progress for a while but its just about done now. Just need to finish the new shocks and lighting system and hopefully stop messing with it for a while.
  7. Thank you as always for the insight. Very surprised to hear Roll doesn't work either, I'd have thought with their close relationship to Elka they'd have that dialed in. I got mine on with my +2 swingarm but I'd really like to go back to stock length. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  8. Have you come across any arms that work without modifications? Trying to decide between having my lsr modified or buying another. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  9. No surprise but I can confirm HP is correct. I have two lsr swingarms, neither the newest style but slightly different reinforcement thickness up front. Neither of them will work with an Elka link. Please post if you can actually install with the new lsr style. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  10. Impact = bad news. Clean the oil off really good and use red loctite.
  11. I might be up for that, have to see what the calendar looks like when it gets closer. I'll keep an eye on this thread.
  12. You'll probably never get an email back from them lol. I know you don't like calling because the language stuff so the easiest way to get in touch with them is by messaging Jedidiah Bunch on Facebook, he works there.
  13. I sold them as a package. You looking for 19.25" shocks specifically? There was a set on the fb page recently. I have another pair I might sell but need to do some testing first and see what I like best. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  14. Yes, MacDaddy does nice work. Any site sponsor (including MacDaddy) can get you setup and likely for a lower price than buying through eBay. In general be careful buying off eBay, if you don't know what's good and what's trash you can waste a lot of money buying trash. I also understand your desire to piece things together slowly but if you save up and buy it all at once from a sponsor you'll probably get a better deal then buying it all separate. Check out the sponsors here: https://www.bansheehq.com/bansheehq-sponsors/
  15. Thanks! I have a couple sets so hoping someone else could use some. If not I'll save them for myself build. I'd like to build an mx bike next year. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  16. I came across a brand new set of the same arms I'm going to use instead. I talked to Gustavo on FB. I think he's going to go to a custom setup now but I appreciate the heads up. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  17. Also come with tie rod assemblies, everything you need for the front end. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  18. $900+shipping and fees. Arms are painted red over chrome and not in great cosmetic shape. Mechanically everything is tight and in great shape, fresh powder and they'd be like new. Shocks in great shape all the way around, setup for a 220lb rider. Please pm me your email address if you'd like more pictures. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  19. I have a set Id sell for $200+ shipping and fees. Have some minor superficial marks as shown in the last two pictures but no wack, broken/stripped threads etc. Pm me your email if you'd like more pictures. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  20. I have these I'd sell for $250 shipped (gifted or add pp fees). I'd like to keep everything together. If you're interested please pm me your email address and I'll send you some details and pictures. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  21. Where are you located?
  22. Lol, I agree with Specialblend's last comment. No hostile intent, just two opinions.
  23. A matter of opinion I guess. I agree that if they aren't leaking you don't need to do seals and orings but the oil in there is a wear item that should be changed every year. To me that's like saying I haven't changed my trans oil in 20 years and the bike still runs fine. I'm no shock expert but 9/10 shocks I've serviced were far overdue on oil and most are low on nitrogen. Every manufacturer I'm aware of also recommends annual (or less) service. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  24. Shocks should be rebuilt every season. 9/10 when you buy used shocks they are behind on service, even if they aren't leaking. Seems like a fair deal for both of you but plan on having them serviced if you go through with the deal.
