  1. Tony answered your questions I believe ^. When I put them on my bikes I noticed improved throttle response and a little more power. I also believe they are a little easier to tune than the stockers, maybe I've just been luck with them. Yes I have just about every jet you could imagine but all my bikes run these carbs so I'm not selling them all. I'll put any size jets you think you need in the carbs or I can take my best guess but odds are to get it perfect you'd need to buy a couple sizes as every bike is a little different in my experience.
  2. Why would you spent $300-500 to port $100 jugs? If you insist on using those assemble the top end and leak test and squish test before you have them ported. Also make sure whoever ports them knows how to measure the port timing and chamfer the ports. The problem isn't with the jugs breaking, its that the quality control is so low. I've seen sets with large amounts of voids, uneven ports, head studs misaligned, uneven decks etc. To save $100 over buy used oem cylinders you're taking a big risk for a little gain. You aren't going to get anyone around here to tell you its a good idea.
  3. Probably too much carb for your bike. I've never tried bigger carbs on a stock engine but from everything I've heard you'll probably pickup a little top end and lose bottom end. I also have a set of PWK 28 with K&N I'd sell for $250. Probably better sized for your bike, I run them on my ported stock stroke bike and really like them.
  4. Running the cheap jugs is fine assuming you're lucky enough to get a set where the head studs line up and the two cylinders are level enough you can get the head/base to seal. Don't run the cheap pistons, not worth it. When (not if) they go you're risking your good crank, cases, stator etc... I have a left stock bore oem jug if you can find a right lol. I see sets needing a bore selling every week on Fb, just gotta jump on them when you see a deal or someone else will.
  5. Thanks for the update. I already have all the parts so I guess I'll give it a go.
  6. Kevin (Jogaca) is a nice guy and does quality work. With the said I would never spend $450 on oem shocks that have been painted and an aluminum block inserted to shorten the stroke and length. At $550 you can get a new set of floats which would be worlds better. You can also pick up some used Elkas for $300-450 if you look around. I have a couple sets of refurbished works shocks I would sell in the $300-400 range, they will be posted in the swap shop within the next week when I get time to get them out and take pictures.
  7. Buy smaller bore stock jugs and have them bored and ported. I agree with you its a waste to port 66mm cylinders but its also a waste to port junk cylinders. For around $100 you should be able to find an oem set that need a bore.
  8. Please post what you find out. I have a lonestar swingarm and Elka LT linkage I was planning on installing and haven't got around to it yet.
  9. Get a rebuilt one from Brian at West Coast ATV Parts. He rebuilds them better than new and they're a bit cheaper.
  10. Lol. I've got a buddy in Whittier that has some PT mids sitting in his garage he'd probably let you try sometime. They are not for sale but maybe you could demo them before you bought some? We should get together and ride this fall once it cools down. I'm always looking for So Cal people to ride with as I really only have one riding buddy down here.
  11. Damn, you planning an exhaust shootout? PT does make a "High Rev" pipe. I didn't know they made a low range though.
  12. Definitely warrior ball joints. Hold onto your wallet, they are about $70/each. Here is the Yamaha part number, I'm not aware of any aftermarket available: 1UY-23549-00-00
  13. I went back to look for the ad and it appears to have been deleted. I would assume she sold it? I will keep my eye out for your list on Facebook and let you know if something pops up, I'm usually trolling for parts.
  14. Carla had a GPR kit on Facebook within the last couple weeks. Have you checked with her?
  15. - Keihin 33mm PWK and K&n filters ($330 shipped) Everything is genuine and ready to use. A couple small burns in one pre-filter and elastic on pre-filters is stretched. - OEM square plug stator ($155 shipped) Good condition, works as it should. - Stock swing arm and carrier ($50+ shipping): Has a poor paint job and needs bearings replaced but everything is straight. Can have the silver one free if you want to pay shipping but someone cut off the chain slider mount. - Front brake parts ($65 shipped): Everything in good working order. What you see is what I have. I have lots of pictures of this stuff. Please message me your email or phone number if you'd like more pics of anything. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  16. Sounds good, hope you find what you need. If you have your heart set on LS you're not going to find a better deal than BlackandYellows LT arms IMO.
  17. I've got some Fireball long travel arms and Elka shocks I'd sell for $1000+shipping. Pm me if you're interested.
  18. Those are knock off cylinders. Can get them new on ebay with pistons for about $150. From what I've read if you get a set without too many casting flaws the cylinders are decent but pistons that come with them are junk. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  19. Is the frame for sale? If so is it titled and what do you want for it? I know someone that would likely want it. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk
  20. Any good parts store, McMaster, Grainger, etc... Or spend a little more, save the hassle and support a site sponsor... https://farmandsandtoys.com/ocart2/crank-o-ring.html?search=crank o-ring
  21. Rumor has it if you buy another one it will stretch over the web and you can replace it. I've also heard of people running without them.
