  2. Those are the only reasons. Most likely your crank seal is bad, only other option is carb is dumping gas into cylinder. If it were premix from the carb you would smell the gas. I bet if you drain your trans oil it is low.
  3. Do a leak down test, it will confirm the crank seal is bad before you tear it down.

  8. Have you talked to Brian Eoff at West Coast ATV Parts? He usually has some reasonably priced ones. I also know a local guy that parts them out in San Diego. His frames usually go for $300 or so + shipping. I could put you in contact if you want.
  9. Yes the ride quality depends on the a-arms as well. It has to be a matched set - arms with proper shock setup. All things being equal, a longer shock will perform better.
  10. I've got an oem stem with over sized tag clamps for 1-1/8" bars for $30+shipping. Also have a bunch of other stock parts, message me if you're interested in anything.
  11. Sounds like a coil or a stator. Get an ohm meter and measure resistance, I'd be willing to bet one of those is out of spec.

  16. Absolutely necessary, no. Proper way to do it, yes. Any time you change your rings you should hone the cylinder so they seat properly. Otherwise you're throwing power (and money) down the drain. If the cylinder is out of round or ring end gap/piston clearance out of spec no point in doing a hone, send them off to be bored.

  18. Listen to the bike, if you have to have the air screw in more than 1 turn from seated you need to up the pilot.

  20. I recently tuned my buddies stoke stroke, drag ported, 66mm with pods, pump fuel and vforce3 at 400ft and 90 degrees. 27.5 with the needle where you have it was the ticket. I would think at your altitude you would need a 27.5 or maybe even 25.
