  1. Congrats on the purchase! I would suggest not riding it until you work out the little bugs and make sure your jetting is on.
  2. I love everything about these quads. I love that fact that there are SO many parts and cool things to do to these bikes, and motor options are endless. There will never be another machine like the banshee. Oh, and chicks always like banshee's the best IMO
  3. X2. You will get ALOT more from your motor having it ported. Send your juggs to a site sponsor and have them port to your riding style.......Wildcard Racing did mine and I couldn't be happier
  4. I would bump your mains up to atleast 260's and adjust from there. You may need to go down a bit, but start rich.
  5. Welcome to BHQ. Make sure EVERYTHING on both carbs are the same. Mains, needles, pilots, air screws, sync..etc
  6. X2. IMO I don't think it adds HP at all...Its just another place for a possible air leak. They are really only needed to clear the clutch actuator like J-Madd said IMO.
  7. Cool, the chariot plate is very nice. The sticky s on here will help you out alot and there is great information. I've always ran Klotz R-50 at 40:1 with no issues at all.
  8. X2 I will help low end power. IMO I would get a ricky stator or chariot adjustable timing plate. I've never had an issue with these: http://www.rickystator.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=131
  9. I did the same thing with no issues.
  10. Pics...?
  11. Thats cool. Wonder how well it tows
  12. I've always ran my bike with no air box at all. But I'm sure the K&N lid is similar to taking the lid off, except you have an extra filter instead of no lid at all. And yes make sure you re-jet accordingly.
  13. On the top right of this site there is a "search" icon....That will be your best friend and has alot of information you can find.
  14. X2. There is ALOT to know about correctly porting.
  15. First off, welcome to BHQ buddy. That's bad ass that your only 13 and trying to figure out ways to get your first banshee, don't give up and you'll have one before you know it! X2 on starting to save every penny you have... that will help alot. Maybe find a decent job and see if a family member will co-sign for a loan on a used banshee? You could get a decent banshee at a pretty cheap monthy payment IMO. Or work your ass off and save for a few years and pay cash for one. Good luck, let us know how it goes. -Zach
  16. Yeah you should be able to powder coat them no problem. I was going to get my chrome CPI's done but decided not too, but the shop I talked to said they could do it.
  17. How much would u be willing to pay for a nice set of chome CPI inframes? I've been thinking about selling mine, but am still not 100% sure.
  18. X2. Might as well build it big from the get go IMO.
  19. X2. Its freezing here (0 degrees at night).... I'm itching to ride and can't wait for this summer. So I feel your pain, I haven't been on my banshee since November or so
  20. These guys might: http://www.stadiumyamaha.com/pages/home/default.aspx
