X2. Try 310 mains, needles in middle position, and 27.5 pilots. You may have to come down on the mains but its better to start rich and work your way down.

Throwing a bigger 2-1 carb kit on there isn't necessrily going to give you more power. In fact I've heard 2-1 kits can hurt performance, but I guess thats all personal opinion. Stock carbs will support up too about 70HP. What are you looking to get out of the bike? Riding style? Current mods? -Zach

IMHO a +8 swinger is going to be overkill on that bike. That being said, I would run a 21inch 9or10 paddle hauler or extreme.

Re-tapped them and put new screws in..good to go now

Did you put the choke tube back on the stock carbs?

X2 leave it to a pro. There is alot more to know than just taking a dremel to your cylinders.

Thats a good idea. My biggest problem right now is, I repacked them no problems there. Go to put the end caps back on and only 2 out of the 3 screws line up....its like the holes on the cap are barley off and not lining up perfect with the canister. Can aluminum be re-tapped?

I need some new end caps for my CPI silencers. The ones I have now are striped out, doesn't surprise me since I bought these pipes used. Any suggestions on where to buy these? CPI directly has them for $20 each, but I'm looking for the best deal I can find. Thanks guys. -Zach

You'll like the CPI's trust me. I run 100% dunes on mine and love them. They run great on my Agressive dune ported cylinders, and my friends CPI's run great on his stock port shee.. These pipes have great potential if you decide to build a bigger motor down the road. As for jetting: Whats your elevation? Stock carbs right? -Zach

Do a leak down test. Then try a set of stockers....I bet it helps ALOT. I still run stock carbs on my ported shee with more mods than you, and this thing rips hard. Stock carbs are good up too about 70-75HP and your bike isn't even close to that in HP numbers IMO. -Zach

Tim, I would run a 4mil for that type of riding....Great power curve from bottom to top. My suggestion would be to call Wildcard Racing, they build some killer machines.. #'s in my Sig. They will get you set up

I ran my CPI's when i had a stock motor with a few bolt ons and it ran great. Alot of my friends I ride with run CPI's with just a cool head and filters...they run well. Of course porting will help ALOT....but I don't think they will hold you back. I've never personally ran Shearers on a stock shee though, but I'm sure you cant go wrong.

28-33's would be preferred on a ported 4mm, but you can run stockers. I run stock 26's on my stock stroke aggressive dune ported shee and it rips hard. Between the two pipes...On a ported 4mm the Shearers will run way harder IMO. I run CPI's, but have always been a fan of Shearers as well

IMHO, every site sponsor on here builds great high horse power motors. I haven't heard a single bad thing about any of them. I think its all personal preference on which builder people decide on. I don't think you can go wrong with....Wildcard Racing, HJR, FAST, M&M, Redline...etc. they all have their own ways and techniques on porting and building motors. -Zach
