(i dont think that yfz will stand a chance) It's really hard to say on acceleration between the two, and I never had it on the dyno. Most of the banshee's who would keep up with me where ported when I had the 450. I would say my banshee right now would probably beat it though. Yeah it takes alot more to make a 450 fast than a banshee. I'd say an easy double the money.

Okay thats good to know. Yeah I think its like 7 bucks a month to rent the modem, I thought about just buying one...i don't know. I dont know a damn thing about computers and electronics, so any advise helps. Yeah I'm just going to be using the net to check email, facebook, and of course BHQ

Yes the ricky stators suck. I would look around here in the for sale section, im sure someone here has a spare stocker. Another thing to check is your jetting. I'm sure Kevin got you pretty close, but do a plug chop just so you know your spot on IMO. -Zach

I'm really sick of my slow internet. Right now I just have a Verizon air card, and it SUCKS! I want to get a wireless router and modem set-up in my house. The problem is, I know nothing about what brands or anything to buy. I was thinking of either getting internet through Comcast or Quest since they both offer great high speed setups. So any suggestions of what kinds or brands of wireless routers and modems should I be looking for? I've had friends tell me a good wireless router in like $80, and a good modem is like $60 or so... Get a 4mil Serval and you should eat him for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I had a yfz450 that was pretty built...44mm Lectron carb,big bore, cams, pipe, intake..(packard racing set the motor up). That alone I was giving some ported banshee's a run for their money. But....I ended up selling that for my 06SE banshee and I couldn't be happier. Just remember, the guys with the super fast 4pokes have to put double the money into the motor than you will have to on your banshee. -Zach

As long as you do a DC conversion I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. Without the DC it won't though.

I've heard they do great work. I would suggest hitting up a site sponsor on here to do your porting. You have my word you won't be disappointed with anyone of them. I had Wildcard Racing port my bike and there work is like no other. Any site sponsor will kick ass though....WILDCARD RACING, HJR, FAST, M&M, REDLINE, PASSION...ETC. -Zach

X2, Well Said Since you said you trail ride and won't get into that high of rpm's, just get some PC's and be done with it. Me personally, I love my CPI's on my ported dune banshee.

I've never used one of those. If thats the same gold coating as a stock axle, it can be stripped off and polished no problem. I run a polished stock axle on my bike right now.

If your engine is covered in gear oil, you may have a problem.

I ride 100% dunes with ten paddle haulers, stock gearing has been pretty good for me. If anything I'd maybe try a little taller gearing since I ride big dunes. Maybe try 14/44 for you?
